  1. Just to get a bit closer to the vinyl experience.....especially for all those people here who never played a vinyl record. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYLnbxXbYBs
  2. Got the same one, and it's for sale for around 20 Euro in our local record shop. it contains session work, Jimmy's first single and the original Dazed and confused by Jake Holmes, although it is credited wrongly to the Yardbirds on the cover. (Nice thing to know....Jake Holmes also composed the "Always Coca Cola" song) Wow, my 500th post, happyhappyjoyjoy  :hurrah:
  3. Truetrue, we had to do this on command of Her Saturnic Majesty, Queen Elizardbeast the 2nd. It's all part of THE CONSPIRACY, which shalt not be named to those who do not know the SECRET HANDSHAKE. (You can buy the code to the handshake on Ebay, it's quite cheap, go get one as well or Hull awaits you)
  4. The rest of the Alanis cd.....I guess it's lame to post every song right now, so ya gotta do it with this post.
  5. This is our national greetings ritual. Quality is supposed to be grainy.
  6. Well, he forgot to post this one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqOKvonLrH8 The most important walrus video in history.
  7. They did that in '95 already, and it kicked ass indeed. As far as the topig, I love TSRTS as an opener, a straight attack that gets you by the nuts from the first second on.
  8. Your version certainly has BALLS, and I admire your guts to play this song. Well done guys, rock on!
  9. Interesting thread. Since the whole theme here already entered my mind some time ago I wrote a song about it, called State of Fear. http://rapidshare.com/files/230567428/enemy.WAV this is the download link, choose the free user option, for nobody has to pay for my music (......yet, haha)
  10. Hello again, dear thread. And of course hello El Mago. Since this thread was becoming increasingly silly, here are some answers to questions you are eager to have. First of all, what was this? Answer: A collage of samples of my own voice recorded with a multi track recorder, forward and backward with lots of digital echo on it. I love to make soundtracks that sound creepy when I am bored. What is this and how was it made? Answer: If you have ink, some drawing talents and instant coffee you can make the same kind of pages to scare and/or impress people. And of course, where did I get the Necronomicon? Answer: Well, not in the Miscatonic University in Arkham, since that town is fiction. Try these links and meet the talented R.A. Poppe. http://www.thestygiandepths.com/the_necronomicon.html http://www.thestygiandepths.com/ He makes them and sells them, but the book is only half full with text, that's why I am now finishing it myself. And he takes a mighty long time to make these books, I had to wait for 9 months before he even delivered it, so do not order one unless you really want it and if you have a lot of patience. Still such a horror movie prop book gives interesting conversations I must admit. Guess that cleared it all up, and no, I don't believe in the occult at all......I just love horror stories and I have a vivid imagination, and when people want to believe in non-existent books, I won't disappoint them, in fact I will even discuss them. No hard feelings, but there ain't no such thing like the Necronomicon.
  11. Fried eggs are VERY Saturnic, a true menace to mankind. In our country many people are killed by fried eggs too, is that also in your country? (So to say many people are terrifried of eggs.)
  12. Well, that was a SANE comment, the necrophiliacs handbook remark had me laughing my ass off.....great! PS nobody ever wrote that book, it is merely a work of fiction, invented by the author H.P.Lovecraft for his horror/scifi stories.
  13. That's speed metal indeed. I must admit that their later albums like Houses of the Unholy seem more a bit black metal to me, but that transition already started with Stairway to hell.
  14. If Led zeppelin were metal, wouldn't they be cyborgs then?
  15. What made me happy was the ability to work today in a slightly altered state of mind. Yesterday evening me and a drummer I know had a bottle of absinthe which we emptied, together with a good amount of reefers. Thank god I even filmed some of our escapades, cause else I would have forgotten some of the nastier things we did. I now have a home video of my drumming friend wearing a kind of Ku Klux Klan hat which he made out of paper. The dramatic highlight is the fact that this hat is on fire. Anyway, I woke up this morning still beeing drunk as hell, by the time I finished delivering mail I was finally sober again.
  16. In case somebody still wants this one for the collection. http://www.musicstack.com/item/31655244/le...stairway+-+20th
  17. LED ZEPPELIN Stairway To Heaven - Special 20th Anniversary Commemorative Edition (Rare 1992 US Atlantic limited promotional only pack comprising a 1-track 7" vinyl single [playing the same version on both sides] and a 1-track CD, presented in a unique 10" x 8" pop-up folder complete with song story/information sheet.
  18. Welcome aboard, it is a great honour to meet green people who have a great taste in music!
  19. Could you explain that a little bit more, would be very interesting to know everything about that indeed (and is it or is it not the epibrated version you are referring to?) It's so good to meet many intelligent people here, but not everybody knows about fifth essence.
