Well, it was Sunday that made me happy. My son started feeling better and we had a nice BBQ at my daughters house. Granddaughter (just a few weeks old) so precious. However, the forecast said sunny and just as we got the charcoals hot a huge downpour, lighting, thunder then just as fast it cleared up. Excellent Tex-Mex grill...oh so yummy. Then just as we were all done a strong wind came along and we were attacked by falling mulberries. Damn, those things can hit hard. Today I'm happy because a doc finally gave me something better than aspirin for my intense pain.

I can sympathize^. Wait till it gets to 115. We finally have some sunshine here. 78 degrees 59 for the low. More friggen rain for the weekend though.

My son is sick on his first Papa's Day.

It's so bad here mushrooms are popping up in everyone's lawns, slugs are in high heaven eating flowers and veggies. I'm Praying we have a sunny day tomorrow so I can spend some time outside with my son and brand new baby girl for Fathers Day.

He told me not to tell. J/K.... It's highly likely he was flying Hughes Air West out of Vegas. That airline had flights only in the west. I flew LA via Vegas several times. And the SLC International Airport was one of the few then with direct flights to NYC. That was a great airline. Free champange...all you could drink. That's where I met Wolfman Jack, and after all that champange wound up on his lap. He departed in Vegas, while I went on to LA. * I'm going to scour our papers one of these days soon, for my own "proof" of a few things.*

Finished Eric Clapton's autobiography. Wow, he was always so caught up in his love affairs. His addictions. But that sure led to some incredible song writing!

Yeah, a brief appearance. I always enjoyed his threads. Sir Chris has been a member for years. He has been writing his own music, and I must say, it's fabulous! I'll give him a shout soon to see what he's up to. Maybe he'll post some of his incredible own music. Kind of Cohen-esque. He's become quite the musician. Oh..and he had a thread that was something like...The small things in life that make you happy. Miss you Chris!

I know, it's all my fault. I should've said anything. Only he is now saying it in What made you Unhappy Today too. And the small things part was in memory of our dear Sir Chris, who had a similar thread title. Come to think of it...where are you Sir Chris???

The rain made me just a wee bit un happy today. It is cool enough for a jacket too. So much for summer shorts. However, seeing the national forcast the entire mid and lower states are all getting hammered. Some very wicked, dark clouds out there.

A friggen truck outside! I live close to an alley that is used for deliveries to two stores and all summer long there is very loud banging slamming etc. Truck noise. Solution... shut the nice breezy door and turn on the AC, and some loud rock and roll. Think I'll put on some CC.

^ interesting. Seeing the outside alley cat's kitten's. The mama cat brought them all over, like she always does when they're "fully baked" three orange, and one charcoal. They are so tiny and cute. oh...and on another note...Got my junk folder straightened out.......

Woah... I feel like I'm back in tropical Asheville, or Oregon here. For the last TWO weeks it's been overcast, a little sun, then huge thunderstorms (which I actually love), it just got done pouring a second ago and more to come. Only 65 degrees.
