  1. I wondered if that is the first ever reference in the Forum to "fortissimo" so I did a quick search. It looks like this is the first !
  2. Song starts at 1:10. A very young Neal Schon with Santana. Too bad they did not stay together.
  3. That is great! Thanks. I just picked up this set. Also got -finally - Live at A & R Studios 1971. Last year I got the officially released Allmans at Atlanta Pop Festival July 1970. That is amazing.
  4. That is fantastic! Only 1247 views and 33 likes since 2017? Thanks for posting.
  5. Thanks so much. Yes it is very partial, but Plant sounds so good for 1975. And I am loving the sound of the bass and drums, especially the bass. Fantastic.
  6. If you prefer the instrumental sections go to about 11:10 - 20:00. Great percussion jam.
  7. A nice one. Are there any other shows where Plant vocalizes like this during the ending guitar solo of Immigrant Song? He gets in a bit of vocalizing here (2:41- 2:47) similar to the studio version. A great touch. Wish he did it more often. Adds to the mystery of the song, without overdoing it. Jones is on a rampage throughout. My goodness - that bass!!
  8. Vintage Aerosmith March 20, 1973, two months after the first album was released. Bonus for me - the set opens with my favorite Aerosmith song.
  9. You have done a fine job on this one and Feb 13 as well. Thank you for sharing! These 75 boards are great for listening carefully to what Jones is doing, and listening carefully to Jones is always a good thing.
  10. A great song selection and nice work on the guitar. And I agree with you about the album jacket. I can still recall getting this album when it was released in spring 1976. Along with Presence, and Rocks by Aerosmith, this was one of my favorite albums that year.
  11. That is a great song and very nice guitar work by you.
  12. Up next: Nassau 13 February 1975 remastered Love the sound of the bass and drums in this one. Sweet.
  13. How about That's the Way, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp, Bron-Yr-Aur, and All My Love.
  14. Yes indeed. That rock and roll medley before How Many More Times is so great. Plant is doing his best Elvis imitation during Twenty Flight Rock. Beatles connection: Eddie Cochran's Twenty Flight Rock is the song Paul played for John when they first met. Plant's range during this medley is amazing, just like when he sang Blueberry Hill a few weeks prior.
  15. This is a very difficult question. Each year/tour is so different. If I had to pick one it would probably be Burn Like a Candle because it covers so many different styles of songs and includes songs from the first 5 albums. And it has an acoustic set. Great show, great execution, great energy. It gets the nod for me because of the diversity and range of material.
  16. Who else remembers the old vinyl boot "Led Astray in Baton Rouge"? How times have changed. Now we have this amazing Grame remaster available in flac files.
