Little Things You Don't Like About Led Zeppelin?

That's funny because the "higher" censorship reference, I've always heard, was referring to an erection/f*cking. -
PGA Championship is slow moving with the rain delays. Baltusrol is a special place for us. Lots of memories. One being a birdie Mrs Walter made at the legendary par three 4th hole during a rare time playing with her father in a pro-am there in '94.

The Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver Thread

Fantastic show last night. The band was tight and Axl's voice was strong and consistent throughout the show. It rained earlier in the evening which cooled everything down nicely. The Cult opened and were good background music while we milled about the stadium. Guns came on just about 10pm and played 2.5 hours. The set list was: It's So Easy Mr. Brownstone Chinese Democracy Welcome To The Jungle Double Talkin Jive Estranged Live and Let Die Rocket Queen You Could Be Mine You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory/New Rose This I Love Civil War Coma (my favorite - couldn't believe they played it) Slash solo (Godfather Theme)/Sweet Child O' Mine Better Out Ta Get Me Wish You Were Here/Layla/November Rain Knockin On Heaven's Door Night Train Encore: Don't Cry Paradise City -
^^Agreed! CP, your descriptions are so vivid! It's about the time for you to be cooking/baking, , hope the weather is holding off for you! Mrs Walter just made some blueberry pancakes. The mix and canned wild berries came from a favorite country store of ours in Vermont, last week in a huge order we placed with them. The syrup came from a family members farm in Canada and some turkey sausage patties on the side. Nice way to start a Saturday!

Getting a buz....err ready for tonight! ? -
I believe the team to watch in the AFC East is clearly the Dolphins. They are loaded with talent. The main issue is whether Tannehill can produce. For your sake, I hope your Bills are able to produce a playoff appearance. Otherwise they will tear it apart next offseason - starting with the head coach.

Who knew? I'm usually an optimist when it comes to camp opening in July. This year, not so much....and the first practice has not even begun.

Come on over to Florida, cp....no shortage of sun here! Another hot and sunny day in central Florida. Heat index pegged at 104 and it's only 11:30 am. Glad I already have my yard work out of the way. Got a concert to attend tonight!

The Next Jimmy Page Studio Album

^ Absolutely! I thought his playing was great at the 02 - especially given the fact of: 1) his age 2) not having toured/played live in 6-7 years 3) the level of difficulty of the material he was playing as a solo guitarist 4) the magnitude of the show and all that was expected from it -
Little Things You Don't Like About Led Zeppelin?
Walter replied to MortSahlFan's topic in Led Zeppelin Newbies
Yep! As far as the sexuality of the performances, remember they were on the heels of the sexual revolution of the 60's. Society had kept sexuality under wraps for so long, until Elvis and many others tried to bring it to tv, etc. Jim Morrison was forbidden to say lyrics to Light My Fire on tv because of the sexual imagery (even though he still did). This was a different time and the music was pushing personal freedoms - sex included. So, while I don't enjoy Robert's shrieks as much as his singing, I just chalk it up to the times and the limits being pushed. -

He's a good fit on many teams, when he's not injured.... Randy Gregory is a piece of sh!t!

That's what my last sentence was referring to. He couldn't pursue this without $ backing.
