  1. What a sweet picture that is, zepscoda! 10 years old, great age! Congrats to you and the Mrs!
  2. Good call, Strider. I'm going to put on Lucifer Sam and Interstellar Overdrive in honour of Syd and BOE, of course, for Sandy.
  3. Tomlin will have his team prepared. If Williams plays, it's all over, Pittsburgh wins. Their defense is pretty young and very quick, as I've been saying all season. Either way, I have to go with Pittsburgh. Something like 24-14.
  4. Hockey, Sean. The Blues are HUGE in St. Louis. Where are these teams going to play in LA anyway? It's all a bunch of horseshite as far as I'm concerned. Rick, you say Pittsburgh barely got by Cleveland - how about Cincinnati? They barely got bye Baltimore!
  5. I agree, Teddy can run. However, I don't think I'd want to send him running with those Seahawks linebackers and safeties ready to snot-bubble him! The Green Bay game is very intriguing. First, I hate both - but that aside - have you ever seen Rodgers play as poorly as he has been the past month or so? That pick in the end zone vs. the Vikes is a perfect example. How does he even throw the ball in that direction, in double coverage, with 5-7 open yards in the end zone, in the opposite direction? I think the Redskins are vastly overrated. But I think I have to pick them at home.... Yuck! I saw the Redskins signed Cary Williams to help out their secondary. The Cowboys knocked a starter and a backup, in the secondary, out of their last game - so that's why they need some depth there. Pittsburgh should stomp the 'nati. But they haven't looked very good the past couple of weeks and now Williams has a hurt foot. You would think Kansas City on a ten-game winning streak should walk all over Houston (how in the Hell did they even make the playoffs with all of their injuries, etc?) - but with JJ playing for the Texans, all bets are off. He could take control of the entire game single handedly. The four road teams definitely could upset the home teams this weekend...
  6. They played Minnesota at the same time earlier this season and Pete Carroll brings the team in on Friday to get acclimated. Still, I agree. They should have the east coast game at 1pm eastern and not the team playing in the central time zone essentially playing at noon there. Stupid. Also, why are both AFC games on the same day and then both NFC games on the same day? They have always had one of each on both days.
  7. Then let's keep the scores. I was just wondering.

    A Lousy Sunday

AWESOME NEWS! Glad for you, Red!
  9. http://m.tmz.com/#article/2016/01/05/scott-weiland-will-filed/ Scott's ex-wife has documentation that she is the legal executer of his will and estate. He has a widow with whom he'd been married to for the past two years.
  10. Just one question, Strider - why the scores? We did it for the Super Bowl last year due to a tie, but why throughout the playoffs? I'll definitely be sending in picks later this week, along with Mrs. Walter and Walter Jr (who is really psyched about being in the pool ). Thank you again for putting all of this together!
  11. RIP Paul. My condolences to his family and friends.
  12. I call this one - a warm Florida Christmas. That's a little lizard sunning himself on our inflatable snow man, Christmas Day. Too cute!
  13. They let him step down - which is definitely the classy way to handle it since he won 2 Super Bowls with them. Miami is interviewing many candidates, Paul. So far: Dolphins, Titans, Eagles, Browns, 49'ers, and Giants are all looking for new head coaches. Saints want a 2nd round pick for Sean Payton. Colts are supposed to be having a press conference anytime now. Pagano is not under contract as of today. Ready for the playoffs? Playoffs?!?
  14. Not me. But once I heard Gurley was out I knew they had a good chance.
  15. Just switched over - TD overturned against Denver. This time Anderson is in. Should tie it back up. Crazy the top AFC teams have been beaten/challenged by Miami, Baltimore, and San Diego. Playoffs are more up in the air this year than ever before, IMO.
  16. Happy Birthday Jonesy! Hope you had a good day. Thank you for all the music you've given to us. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2016!
  17. Yes, it's chilly down here too Paul. Nice change and it feels more like the season, that's for sure! Warming my homemade ham and bean soup. Perfect.
  18. Thank you Strider for all of your hard work and diligence in putting together this season's pool. It's one of the highlights for this forum every year, as far as I'm concerned.
  19. Seattle looking good early! Another crazy week 17. It was a great day for Paul, Rick, and I. My Cowboys did what they had to do to get a top 3 pick, suck! I believe they are scheduled to pick 3rd, behind Tenn and Cleve. How about the Colts winning with 2 qb's who weren't even on the team last week? Messed up!
  20. Mrs Walter: Buffalo New England Detroit Atlanta Cincinnati Pittsburgh Houston Indianapolis Giants Dallas Kansas City Carolina St Louis Denver Arizona Green Bay
  21. Strider, I'm changing my Indianapolis pick to Tennessee. I see the pen has entered the room, so Mrs. Walter's picks should be soon.
