So what's with all the stories about match fixing? Do you feel safe laying money on games that have been "controlled"? Also, why the J-Lo pull out? Seems like more negative aura surrounding the World Cup than ever.

I like Piper... a lot too, especially when compared to the other releases of that time period, with and w/o Syd, but compared to Meddle, etc. there is no comparison, IMO.

I just saw a "new" release of Cleveland 1/24/75 was coming out soon. Has this show already been circulating around previously? I have never heard anyone speak of it before. Any thoughts?

I thought that's the way it was - that they had to run in one or the other to get in at Belmont. That rule should be changed, IMO, for the betterment of the sport. Chrome gave it all he could, not a bad run - just not a winning run. You could see his legs start to straighten and lose their push coming off turn 4. Beautiful horse.

WLL was released as a mono-version single back in late '69-early '70, should they have re-released a remastered version of that too? These are album remasters, not everything ever released remasters.

That's nice, pph, and quite humorous too! You say he likes Waters' stuff better than Gilmour's, but you gave him two Gilmour albums and what I would presume to be a Barrett-based release with "first 3 singles". Good stuff and very kind of you - but funny nonetheless!

Very nice! I just bought a 2012 (12,000 mi.) black convertible SS Camaro - fucking love it! It's stick, so Mrs. Walter is having to learn to drive it. What an awesome car! Glad you're having a good trip!

I was thinking the same thing, maybe the other version had too much carry over from the Yardbirds' original. Listening to the "new" SIBLY, just so amazing. Much more emotion in this version, IMO. Jimmy just shreds.
