  1. I believe Robert Plant should be nominated. His solo work has sold well, has been diverse and extensive, he's been recognize by various award groups - namely the Grammy's - and has had a great amount of influence, vocally and visually, on others.
  2. I was thinking about Jacksonville too, Strider. They've gotta win sometime, right?!? San Diego, on the road, on a short week - could just be the situation needed for J'ville to pull one off.
  3. Seattle Atlanta Detroit Miami New England Dallas Chicago Carolina San Diego San Francisco Baltimore Green Bay Kansas City Denver NY Giants
  4. Strider 60-32, he must be having jb126 make most of his picks for him!
  5. The Colts better get going in this game, they don't want Rivers to hang around for too long....3-0 Indy after 1.

  7. Well, Indy also knocked off the Seahawks from the unbeaten. I think they will beat San Diego by a wide margin tonight, something like 27-14. Who knows which Charger team will show up tonight? Back to SF, they struggled with Arizona yesterday - at home.
  8. What did I tell you guys about Rob Ryan? Heartbreaker for the Saints, and for once I was rooting for the Pats. Really hoping the Cowboys offense keeps that train-a-rollin' tonight!
  9. LET'S GO COWBOYS!
  10. I tried to tidy it up, Strider, on my phone right now so not the easiest of tasks. Yeah, the poor little guy passed away. He hadn't had any brain activity since the beating. There has to be a special place in Hell for a person like that. Where was the mother in all this? Obviously not protecting her son. God bless his soul.
  11. What an absolutely horrific story. Thoughts and prayer go out to Adrian Peterson and his son. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is back with the team after traveling to South Dakota to deal with the alleged assault of his 2-year-old son, who is reportedly in critical care. Peterson will speak to the media after practice, according to a report from USA Today's Tom Pelissero John Hult and Josh Verges of the Argus Leader reported Joseph Patterson, who has been allegedly dating the child's mother, was charged after harming a 2-year-old boy that was in his care on Wednesday. Blaine Larsen of the Sioux Falls Police told the Argus Leader that the 27-year-old Patterson was the only person home at the point of the alleged assault and passed along more information. He also said the injuries were "consistent with abuse." Law enforcement officials reportedly told TMZ Patterson was arrested after a situation where a child suffered "severe head injuries." Until Adrian Peterson speaks, there is much we don't know about this alleged incident. Our thoughts go out to him and his family at this time.
  12. Rob Ryan's success is the product of an offense that has taken the lead early in games and has controlled the clock and not turned the ball over. He has never had a defense that has finished the season in the top 10. I still believe it was good to let him go. But, you are correct Paul - the Saints defense is MUCH improved over last year's mess.
  13. Still hurting after that loss. It was not unexpected though - remember my prediction explanation. The Cowboys secondary is Swiss Cheese - they have given up over 400 yards passing in 3 out of 5 games now. You can't blame it totally on the secondary, the d-line is not getting any pressure on the qb either. Oh well, let's see how they rebound. Next two weeks: home against Washington, then on to Philadelphia. They should be 4-3 after those two games, but then again.....
  14. I see two of the Ravens receivers are inactive today, Paul. Heavy dose of Ray Rice and Torrey Smith is what the Dolphins will have to stop today.
  15. 4-6 weeks for EJ to come back. Better hope those RB's stay healthy.
  16. Happy Birthday Debs!!! Hope it's as great of a day, as you are a person!
  17. I've been listening to that show this week. That is a GREAT version of GTBT/CB!
  18. The guy you wanted to string up last year, you want back this year - classic! There were many things that lost the game for you guys, beginning with special teams play. Every team has a salary cap, so everyone can't afford too many injuries. Some just adapt better than others (i.e. Patriots).
  19. Who knows how it would have turned out if Hoyer hadn't gotten knocked out in the first quarter....that's football! Injuries and penalties are the intangibles that f*ck up people's predictions. What IS, not what if........
  20. 52 yarder....GOOD! 10-0.
  21. My too Strider! I should've done the same!
  22. Everything looks to be going your way Rick!
  23. Hoyer down, Hoyer down! You can hear the entire city of Cleveland screaming all the way down here!
