  1. VERY NICE!!! Tough last 15 years or so...but still have scoreboard over everyone, but 2 teams! Cowboys o-line is still banged up along with Romo's top 3 targets - on a bright note though the defense has looked good, especially the upgraded secondary. Tonight it's the Rams, then Wed it'll be the 'fins - both in 'big D'. At least I get to see them on Hard Knocks for the last preseason game.
  2. Good for you! As much as you love to go to the games, you deserve that!
  3. Normal (organic though) No Quarter.... 1975 or 1977?
  4. Glad you said that....me too! Although there has been some member(s) around lately who would probably be alright with it!
  5. Time to wash up....you dirty girl!

  7. That seems to always be the case! I really can't stand Gene Simmons anymore.....
  8. ^ The wife and I flew up to Detroit to see the start of the reunion tour at Tiger Stadium. Alice In Chains opened for them, one of Layne's last shows singing with them. Then saw them later that year in town, had 4th row seats and we dressed up with make up, costumes, etc. It was a wild night! The pyrotechnics were so hot on our faces...Ace's solo during "Shock Me" was a high point, especially when his guitar flew away with the pick-ups on fire! You're right MM, they weren't even close to the same band without him. Saw them on the Animalize tour without the make up, good show but nothing like the reunion shows!
  9. Ace was always my favorite member. I just started reading his book "No Regrets". I personally think he is about the only member who brought validity to their music, more than just about the show that is. I want to catch him solo, but he seems to stay around the NY area mostly. Long live Ace!
  10. Nice article, thanks Sam! Looking forward to the prospective disc!!!
  11. I thought the "fractured ribs" show was in May '73 in Dallas?
  12. ^ Actually DD was one of the first songs to drew me towards LZ. The incredibly different riff that Jimmy wrote made me pay attention, the first time I heard it! Especially living where there are long, bad winters the song really captures the summertime vibe, IMO.
  13. Joe, I just saw this post while lurking around and wanted to say "thank you" for your kind words. Peace.
  14. Welcome to you both, have fun!!!
  15. When Jimmy gets the guitar part just right, that song is fantastic live! I saw a lion, he was standing alone....with a tadpole in a jar. (Sounds like another fool waiting on the wrong block!?! )
  16. First off, HTWWW is from '72. They stopped playing DD pretty much after the European tour of '73. I haven't seen any live video of them doing that particular song. Sorry.
  17. Man, that autograph is BAD TO THE BONE!! Thanks for sharing!
