  2. I'm surprised he could find 3, knowing how embarrassed he is about his past
  3. Yeah but you're not the son of the drummer of one of the biggest bands of all time. Considering how little video and/or audio exists that has not been unearthed, it does sound strange that after 40 odd years he "found" Reels to Reels and Tapes that could have some unseen footage and audio. Would you not have had a rummage before now? In all the times he has been to the property, to see his Mother for example, did he never once think "I wonder if there is anything stored away that may be interesting"? The farm maybe large but unless it's a 40 roomed mansion, which it isn't, then he couldn't have looked very well previously
  4. Crikey. You do know how to pack your sugar rushes in? Them Cheerios contain 12g of sugar PER SERVING !!!!
  5. Really? I mean Reels and Tapes "Found". Considering this man makes his living on the back of his Fathers' band, you would have thought that he would have done something about it before now?. John has been dead 43 years, so one would assume that all his belongings would have been catalogued and/or viewed or listened too? It's taken all this time (and with the decomposing of such rare and interesting material) to find the stuff and do something about it? He also never told Jimmy about it, especially as there is a documentary about the band and this would have been a very welcome addition?
  6. Spring has arrived. Beautiful warm sunny day. First day the washing has dried on the line and the birds are in full song. @Brigante must be fuming
  7. After yesterday's Budget (for the rich), the foolishness of leaving the EU is seriously coming home to roost. We are both sick of this country. It's a collective shithole of run down, broken towns, with poor folk shuffling around trying to make a crust. Unless you live in the Conservative heartlands of the South East, the country is quickly going down the pan. Litter adorns almost every road, thousands of (illegal) migrants housed in hotels, mainly in the north, who have no jobs and are basically paid by the tax payer. We are taxed incredibly high and it gets worse by the day. Our rivers are dying due to the water companies pumping raw sewage into them, illegally, but the regulator does fuck all about it. If not the rivers it's the sea. I complained to my local MP about the amount of litter that is on the roads of where I live. Of course I never heard back and I live in an area of outstanding beauty. It's disgraceful We have just been to Portugal for a week. It was spotlessly clean. Street cleaners were evident everywhere taking pride in their country. Yes of course it has it's own problems but it's nowhere near as bad as this overcrowded dump. We have the money to upsticks and move down to the Med. France, Spain or Portugal. However due to the Brexit shambles, we can only stay in any EU Country for 90 days at any one time then have to leave for 90 days.
  8. The Winter, on the whole, hasn't been too bad. Very dry and not really cold. The last few days have been a bit naff. Mix of rain and snow. But as we move glacially towards the change of clocks we do this on the 25th March, the Winter is getting like Jimmy's "Guitar Solo" from the 77 tour. Enough is enough
  9. I agree with you BM. However when you live in a (part) of a country where the sun shines only by accident, we ain't got a choice. It is why whenever anyone wants to start growing in a tent with lights, the first thing is to get the environment right. Without that then it's very difficult
  10. The cold has returned to The Peaks along with snow. Not major yet but it is forecast 30-40cm of the shite overnight tonight and tomorrow. Windows definitely closed
  11. I occasionally buy that. The Reserva is good too. How was it? It costs about £8 here. @ebk. How goes it Esther?
  12. We were in Seville in September once, it was 40 degrees c. We were hitch hiking back home from Portugal to England. It took a very relaxing 7 days. The north of Spain doesn't really experience the heat like The Costas do. All we will be doing in June is swimming, either in the pool or the sea, BBQ fish and seafood and glugging copious amounts of Rioja. We would live in Spain if we still were part of the EU. Once the UK made the disastrous decision to leave, we can only stay for 90 days and then have to come back to Dumpsville and not return for another 90 days .
  13. Spain is our favourite Country. We haven't been for a few years . The food and wine, and of course the weather, is a big draw for us. We are renting a Villa with a pool for 2 weeks in Nerja down south.
  14. Opposite ends of the country. If you have time whilst you're up north try to pay a visit to La Rioja. It's on my (wine) bucket list for years. Mrs CP retires in a few weeks then all bets are off for holidays.
  15. We will be in Spain this summer. Last week June, first week in July. Lazing, eating, drinking good wine at a Villa in Nerja
  16. We were in Portugal last week, Golfing. It was glorious
  17. Chilly but sunny. @Stryder1978. Looks like a bit of the white stuff for us on Thursday. First of the year if I recall.
  18. Nice. THC is something we don't really look at to be honest. It's the taste and effect for us. I've smoked 10% THC bud that has smacked me on my arse and 20%THC which has been mediocre. Got about 7 weeks until my girls should be ready.
  19. Like many, interest is fading fast. I really couldn't care less about a documentary about the band. There will nothing we don't know already and "previously unseen footage"? What exactly would that be? Page already said after the DVD that there was nothing left to see. To (nearly) quote Peter Grant, this is the (2nd) most expensive home movie ever made.
  20. Bloke walks into a pub with an ostrich and a cat and two small birds fluttering around his head and orders a round. They all drink their drinks, then the ostrich orders a round. They all drink their drinks, then the two small birds order a round. They all drink their drinks and look at the cat, who just buys a drink for himself. "Typical." The bloke says. "What's the story ?" asks the barman. "Well, you see, I found a magic lamp, rubbed it and a genie appeared, so I wished for a bird with long legs, a pair of great tits and a tight pussy."
  21. No. The March 1970 show kicks off with We're Gonna Groove and is an excellent show. The set list was very similar to The Albert Hall Show earlier in the year. If it was from 1971 then they would have opened with Immigrant Song
