  1. The new single Square Hammer from Ghost is pretty fuckin' awesome. I tried to find a good live version, but the audio on all of them sucked.
  2. Got this from Redbox, and it was way funnier than I imagined. Of course, I didn't realize it was The Lonely Island guys, which explained a lot. REALLY funny stuff. Not surprisingly, this was epic. Key and Peele are real-deal hilarious.
  3. ^^^ THIS, so much. ^^^ Thanks, Sean.
  4. drooling.gif jealous.jpg I'm loving the sound of the Vanilla Kush. Hybrid AND 25+%??? Want.
  5. Thanks, I had a great time. He's pretty hard gangsta-type rap, but he seems to have more intelligent lyrics than a lot of others, and the tunes are pretty catchy. There was a surprisingly large proportion of white people in attendance, although it would be a pretty safe bet I was probably the oldest, for sure, LOL. Essentially, much like Snoop Dogg on Doggy Style over 20 years ago, he creates really groove-y songs that sound awesome with a nice buzz. What I find interesting is he's been putting out mixtapes since about 2010, many of which are exceptional, particularly in comparison to actual, signed releases by other artists, yet this album Islah is his first actual album. His mixtape from last year, Luca Brasi II, is incredibly solid with a LOT of great cuts, and holds its own against any of the top rap albums released last year. I readily admit to a certain degree of entertainment I derive from the looks I get from young black kids when I drive up banging his tunes. LOL
  6. Surprised no one has mentioned Joyce Baby Jean Kennedy of Mother's Finest. She's always made me weak when she sings Baby Love. Here she is in 1978... ...and still rocking in 2014!
  7. Inger Lorre of The Nymphs. Very underrated 90s band. I'm actually friends with her on Facebook, she's pretty cool. She's doing a reunion show at the Viper Room May 27 with about 10 other bands.
  8. One of my favorite David Gilmour tunes - still on my phone. I sometimes play it for people who don't know about it and they always think it's some Pink Floyd they were unaware of, LOL.
  9. What a show! Kevin Gates was unbelievable! Best of all, got to meet him and he recorded a video shout-out to my son, who couldn't be there as he is attending Youth Challenge Academy. Super-cool guy.
  10. Getting up in the morning to drive 6+ hours to see Kevin Gates in Norfolk, VA. I've got the VIP Meet and Greet, which is why I'm driving so far. Wanted to go to the Charlotte NC show (about 2.5 hours away), but by the time I got paid, they were sold out of VIP packages. Then, 2 days after I purchased, he added a show in Columbia,SC (only 1 hour away, LOL), but they don't do refunds. Still pretty jazzed about seeing him. Gonna try to get him to record a short video shout-out to my 17 year-old son, who got me turned on to Gates in the first place. He's currently at Youth Challenge Academy and can't go with me. Really, Really looking forward to this one. LOL
  11. Probably the most intense movie I've seen since No Country For Old Men. Benicio Del Toro is so legit. The opening scene was unimaginably disturbing. HIGHLY recommended.

This is fucking awesome! I LOL'd'd'd'd'd'd.
  13. My son and I stopped at Daytona Beach yesterday on our way home from visiting my Brother in Orlando. I captioned this one "our shadows taller than our souls..."
  14. Cool that you posted this. Did you see where they (Tool) actually dressed like Zeppelin for this song? How cool is that?

    Happy Halloween!

Obligatory Halloween head wound, with a side order of gaping zombie hole. And, of course, braaaaiiins. I messed up the zombie teeth decal, should have began right at the corner of my mouth, but my facial hair was in the way.

    Make me laugh!

God, I love Dr. Katz! And this particular episode is insanely funny. This is one of my favorite scenes from that episode.
  17. Belated, indeed. LOL Very good read.

LOLLERS, this is from the town I live in - Augusta, Georgia. This was a music store about 4 or 5 miles from my house.
  20. Saw Straight Outta Compton Saturday night, and it was everything I expected. It has perhaps the most incredible, amazing job of casting ever. Every person represented that I was familiar with looked pretty much exactly like the actual person. For a minute, I thought they had resurrected the Tupac hologram to play him, it was uncanny how much he looked and sounded like him. I don't know if there's an Oscar for casting, but this is the best job of casting I've ever seen. Ever. Really enjoyed it.
  21. Just noticed the Preview Reply option is gone. Is that final, or something else waiting to be re-integrated?

That's the greatest thing I've seen... well, today at least. LOL Awesome.
  24. Another movie I probably never would have noticed were it not for seeing the trailer before another movie. I'm liking Jude Law more and more.
