    Make me laugh!

From the Tosh.0 blog. Funniest part of this was the caption - It's a visual metaphor for every goal you've ever set for yourself. LOL
  2. On your birthday, there should be no egrets. ba-dum-TSSSSSSHHH I'm so sorry.
  3. Been offline for a couple days, elbows-deep in my car doing critically necessary repairs, but glad to wish you a belated Happy Birthday. Hope it was a good 'un, muh man! And many, many more.
  4. Thank you, all! Yes, I had a wonderful birthday with my crew. You guys rock!

I was there. Incredible. Very intense.
  6. Thanks, Bro. I'm so geeked right now it's gonna be hard to sleep. I am praying to finally score a First-class seat for the flight. Delta employees are always talking about ending up in First-class, but i have yet to get one. I always get bumped. Here's hoping!
  7. Yep, it's been confirmed now. RIP Snake.
  8. Wow. And that was on a lot of major news outlets. Cool, though. Always loved The Snake.
  9. RIP Snake. http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2015/07/09/raiders-great-ken-stabler-dies-at-age-69/
  10. In less than 48 hours, I will catch a flight to Denver for the July 11 Rush R40 Tour show at the Pepsi Center. I am exceedingly psyche'd. Should be decidedly epic. http://www.rush.com/show/r40-live-denver/
  11. Loved it! LOL Once I realized it was based on a comic book, I was more at ease with the very loose grip on realism and the over-the-top violence.
  12. Wow. One of the biggest regrets of my youth is passing up on Van Halen,Journey and Montrose in Tampa in 1978. Me and a friend each had dates, and the four of us were sitting in the car trying to decide between a local keg party and driving a little over an hour or so to Tampa to see the VH concert. I barely even remember the keg party, if it happened at all. In fact, it may have actually ended up fizzling out before we even got there. The shame burns deep still.
  13. RIP to The American Dream. I remember when he disguised himself as Uvalde Slim, but there was no mistaking that elbow! http://www.tmz.com/2015/06/11/dusty-rhodes-wwe-legend-dies/
  14. Nice. Huge Ghost fan. Papa III !!! I'm sure you've seen this, but this is a truly awesome live video -
  15. Tried some edibles and a good strain of smoke, and kicked back with this one. And I know you'll think it's the weed talking, but this was exponentially funnier than the first movie. That is, assuming you enjoyed the first movie. I went in just hoping to like it, and 10 minutes in I was laughing so hard I realized I would have to watch it again just to catch things I missed while I was laughing. It's that kind of insanely funny bits all the way through, as well as honestly superbly subtle remarks and sight gags. This would be crazy funny without the buzz. This was more intensely funny than Bad Grandpa. You will laugh.
  16. My next must-see. This looks hilarious!
  17. Rented this this afternoon, and was very pleasantly surprised. Had a kind of Snatch Lite vibe, with less violence and more humor. The running joke, even though featured in the trailer, still proved to be hysterically funny throughout. Johnny Depp's character slid between the ridiculously inane and the surprisingly astute without a hitch, which made it incredibly funny. I was actually prepared to be let down, but found myself laughing hard throughout. A lot of the almost stereotypical British themes of dry humor and keeping up appearances. Overall, a most entertaining movie, for me.

I think I like this setlist a little better. I'll be happy if this is it for July 11 in Denver.
  19. Saw 2 movies this weekend. And I know how it makes me look when I give my take on the 2, but I don't care, LOL. First, I watched Birdman. I didn't get it. I almost thought it was about Michael Keaton himself, having played Batman back in the day. I'm not sure how much of what he was doing was real and what was in his mind. It was OK to watch, but I never felt like I was in tune with the movie. Last night, my son treated us to the discount movie for Mothers Day, and he chose The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water. And guess what? It was very funny and entertaining. And it was done very well. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Unlike my initial apprehension of more or less sitting through an hour and a half of Spongebob episodes, this was actually interesting with an identifiable storyline. So yeah. I know how it makes me look when I liked The Spongebob Movie but didn't get the Academy Award-winning Birdman. So be it. LOL

Instead of copying the SHARE link, copy the actual URL in the address bar of your browser, that works for me. The full 2112 has me pretty psyched. Some tunes I really love aren't there (Distant Early Warning, New World Man, Analog Kid, Workin' Them Angels, to name a few) , but I'll live. I know it will be absolutely epic. Rush has never failed to deliver in the 4 or 5 shows I've seen. EDITED to remove Far Cry from my list of songs not included - it IS included, LOL.

Navy folks will especially appreciate this -
  23. Just as I was beginning to wonder if there was any way I could be more certain we were separated at birth (you know, besides the whole couple years difference in ages thing), you sealed the deal with Beany and Cecil. You just threw me into about a 45 year time warp. Thanks. By the way, since I didn't see it...
  24. More like apples and lemons, amirite? Amirite? You know, as in Apple Records? And The Lemon Song? C'mon. I was making witty wordplay with a twist on the apples and oranges reference. Is this thing on? I'll just shut up now.
