I'm agreeing with you 100% on the crap Hollywood puts out these days. .
I just watched Patton again and his speech at the beginning was great:
'We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy. We're going to hold him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the ass. We're going to kick the hell out of him all the time and we're going to go through him like crap through a goose!'
We just watched 'Triumph Of The Will' and I remember the old poster that said: 'Hitler swallows gold and spouts junk!'
Today we went to Seattle to Pioneer Square and it was a gorgeous day and about 75*
I got some good pics with my old Rolleicord on Tri-X film. Last weekend we went to Seattle to the EMP and the Folklife Festival was also on and there were literally THOUSANDS of people there despite the rainy weather. We got lost and couldn't find our vehicle which was parked at 8th and Lenora streets. We also took the ferry ride from Seattle to Bremerton to see the Navy museum but we were too late and it was closed. But the ferry ride was awesome and the water was like glass. On the way home we stopped at Boeing field and only had 15 minutes to see the WW2 warplane exhibit but it was great.
I think Lee was overwhelmed by Crystal. You could see the wind go out of his sails.
We'll see what the voters say.
I guess they'll both be given new Mustangs? I'll take one over a Focus.
A song I'm intentionally trying to keep in my head and learn on the classical guitar is 'Study In B Minor' by Fernando Sor. I have the song memorized but my fingers still aren't cooperating on certain parts.
I remember the old Anacin commercials where the husband comes home and the wife says something to him and he just about rips her head off.
What an asshole.
There was a topic on this on the radio the other day and they're called 'Ear Worms'
Thankfully, I haven't had any of late. It was hard enough getting the WHAM song out of my head.
