  1. Great pic guys, looking good! Sean , how long did you have your beard for? This is the first I've seen you clean shaven!
  2. Being inside a dispensary, particularly the large ones, is like being a kid in a candy store. The weed is so beyond what we had in the 80's & 90's , and we got some bad ass smoke down in in the Bronx back in the day. In a dispensary the variety is mind blowing, and would be overwhelming if it weren't for the one on one with the employee behind the counter. Think of it as going up to a deli counter and ordering cold cuts. You tell them what you're looking for, the type of buzz you'd like, and they make great recommends . Once NY and Texas get on board, and they will, it will be a glorious day!
  3. This year's show at Red Rocks was the best I've seen yet. You never know what they'll open up with and this year blew everyone away. Opening tune was an 8+ minute version on War Pigs complete with pyrotechnics, both a first for the band. The pyrotechnics were tongue-in-cheek but their cover of War Pigs was stellar and the first time they ever played it live. .. then without saying anything to the crowd, they go into a 5+ minute cover of Cinnamon Girl ! The tone was set for a magick evening. No rain again, second year in a row... the only clouds in the sky were emanating from the audience ...filled with THC 😎 Set list.... 1. War Pigs (Black Sabbath cover) 2 Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young cover) 3 New World Arisin 4 Turn the Light On 5 Hidden Charms - Willie Dixon song 6. Bittersweet 7. Damaged One 8. Wipeout Turn 9. Poor Miss 10. Josephina 11. Resignation Superman 12. Long Coal Train 13. I Wanna Know Everything 14. Tomorrow Never Comes 15. Detonator 16. Dirty Juice 17. Broken Hearted Savior 18. Roomful of Mirrors (Jimi Hendrix) encore: 19. Boom Boom Boom 20. Circle 21 Hey Joe A video I took of a blazing solo in Wipe Out Turn, the sound is a little distorted, but gets better as I pan around to get footage of the Red Rocks crowd:
  4. The higher THC strain we got was Chemdawg 4. Sitting at a intense 26% THC , some gummies and of course a vape pen. I love the pen because you can smoke anywhere and not get noticed. Perfect for baseball games 😉
  5. It was really good, very mellow. I've never had more CBD than THC and was pretty curious to see what the outcome would be. Didn't take long before you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. When also got some higher THC strains, just to change things up.
  6. Leaving Colorado today...😕 I love it here!
  7. Up in Colorado again for our annual BHTM Red Rocks show. First pick up is some nice mellow pre lunch smoke. 18% THC 20% CBD... known as, Ak47
  8. Big Head Todd & the Monsters w/ Blackberry Smoke & JD McPherson. This Saturday up at Red Rocks!

  10. I love them both. But Priest has a more diverse catalogue. Their "70s material is amazing.
  11. His story is pretty unique. The other incarnations of Rainbow and Sabbath sound nothing like his tenure with them. By far, Stargazer is my favorite:
  12. Have you listened to his stuff with Rainbow yet, or his work with Sabbath? Great stuff.
  13. Black Beehive - Big Head Todd & the Monsters
  14. Sword was great Saturday night, as was the opener The Shelter People. Both bands have a Sabbath vibe going on. Shelter sounds more like pre 1975 Sabbath . Sword has a post 1975 sabbath feel to their sound. Cross that with Rush type synth's and duel guitar harmonies , Thin Lizzyish, mixed with a jam band approach and you have The Sword. A sonic bombardment of countless riffs and time signatures that change on a dime! It makes for a very, very fun experience. All pics below are of The Sword...
