35 Years Gone: Flying Circus

What a night for Zeppelin. 35 years ago, in Madison Square Garden, the boys put on quite a show. I was 3 years old, plus a couple months.

First live Zeppelin I probably ever heard, let alone bootleg. Hearing no Quarter from this show come on a random at a friends is what sparked my Zeppelin interest.

Ive since heard tons of bootlegs but this show still holds special place for me, I will definitely give some of it a listen tonight.

i hate to be a bit of a downer but i know that the music in this show is really good, but Plant's voice kinda ruins it for me. I'd much rather listen to the baton rouge and long beach shows from the second leg of the tour.

Reading this thread I realised I forgot the anniversary!! Yeah...35 years ago. WOW!!

I was listening to the show on my iRiver coming home from work yesterday...pure coincidence.

Flying Circus is still probably my favorite boot. Love it.
