What a night for Zeppelin. 35 years ago, in Madison Square Garden, the boys put on quite a show. I was 3 years old, plus a couple months.

“John Paul Jones, piano. Jimmy Page, electric guitar. Raymond Thomas, Jimmy Page’s road manager. Ian Knight, in charge of the smoke machine that didn’t work. Peter Grant, our manager. Everybody!”

First live Zeppelin I probably ever heard, let alone bootleg. Hearing no Quarter from this show come on a random at a friends is what sparked my Zeppelin interest.

Ive since heard tons of bootlegs but this show still holds special place for me, I will definitely give some of it a listen tonight.

Reading this thread I realised I forgot the anniversary!! Yeah...35 years ago. WOW!!

I was listening to the show on my iRiver coming home from work yesterday...pure coincidence.

Flying Circus is still probably my favorite boot. Love it.
