cryingbluerain Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 How ironic that our "anti-war" prez, the guy who demonized Bush for his warmongering ways, will be the person responsible for the death of the War Powers Act because of his inability to get Congressional approval for military action in Libya. They say that only Nixon could go to China and now it looks like only Obama could get away with killing the War Powers Resolution (something that Nixon tried to veto btw). I can actually picture their Navy ships out of something from the very funny movie, "Down Periscope". Old and decrepit ships and submarines. Ready and waiting to be blasted out of the water. If Wiki has got the Libyan Navy then the United States and/or NATO has nothing to worry about.
