Ddladner
Wow! Very nice marlam!! Deer Island, Biloxi Mississippi Oak tree with Spanish moss, a familiar coastal sight. Edited October 18, 2014 by Ddladner
WLL4LZ
^ These are lovely dd - nice silhouette. Driving out past Laidley (west of Brisbane). Stopped to 'shoot' some cows. Found I was being watched.
Ddladner
How cool is that, WLL4LZ!!! I wouldn't see anything like that where I live, the most common animal near the roads here are deer, and there are plenty of those to see! The most unusual animal I've seen while riding down the road was howler monkeys in a mango tree in Costa Rica.

zepscoda
Nice! Almost looks like snow. They actually sell sleds at the gift shop to sleigh down the dunes. The sand is very fine gypsum, it feels incredible barefoot! Edited October 19, 2014 by zepscoda

WLL4LZ
Fall in Oct.jpg Very nice Charles. As a kid I used to wonder why there were four seasons - what's this Autumn deal & 'Fall', what gives? (Here it just gets cooler, then warmer - things don't look much different.) Your lovely photos show Autumn in all its glory.

We've got a few around our way in bushland areas but it's always a thrill to see the joeys - they somersault clumbsily in & out of the pouch with no regard for their poor mother.
