❄️🏔️Wow, serious snowfall in parts of California and the Mountain West where wind gust topped 190 mph and snow totals can reach upward of 10 feet when all is said and done:

Hot. Yesterday was like a Sauna. Very cloudy with no breeze. Had to spend most of the day indoors with AC.

Good news though: The humidity has come down and the current bun is out. Set fair for our last week on this beautiful island. Only 10 days to go before we see the cloud, rain and grey that is home. We've been here nearly a month and have seen no rain at all.

And they kept saying the drought would never end. 😄 Failed again with their climate predictions.

Hot and sunny. 95 degrees today.

SIGH!!!  Send some of that our way!  Now prediction for snowfall Wed night through Friday morning is 2-7 inches, southern Colorado takes the brunt not us!

Our weather experts (yea, you know, the ones that can predict global temperatures will rise .024 degrees in 50 years) have decided to punt and estimate 2-7 inches of snow for us over the next 24 hours.  Denver expected to get double digits and be the strongest snow storm in three years.  Heavy, wet snow too, a tree branch and power line killer!

I watched all three Denver stations last night to see how much snow they predicted we would get out of this 36 hour storm.  One station said 4 inches, one said 7 inches, the third said 14 inches!  With 24 hours to go, so far we've got 1 inch on the grassy parts and nothing on the streets and sidewalks!

That is how it is with their rain predictions out here in the Phoenix area.

Well, it's March in Colorado.  Yesterday afternoon, I was in the sunroom reading and catching rays, and by 1700 hours, it was snowing.  Woke up this morning to a layer of ice on the streets and sidewalks covered with 2 inches of snow and a temperature of 19 degrees!
