No no not off topic , THAT was a great story of a PLANT. moment in time , your story took me RITE BACK to those first solo feelings i got too! GREAT STORY MAN, it moved me reminded me of me & an old high school friend , we connected cause he mentioned the solo release & i was like “YEA MAN ITS GREAT , your the ONLYone i even heard mention it” then i think he rode over with it on his moped & we both knew rite then we were bros!! No doubt! & wouldn't it be great if Page realizes Angers so called curse on Jimmy (if it had any strength at all in the first place, doubt it) dissolved with Kenneth Anger when he died ! & Jimmy was free to exercise his creativity (likely was there all along anyway) & dug deep & pulled of a read whopper of a riff ! & whoever the writing team Ozborne utilizes did a good job with the rest of the song & it just smacked all the doubters & haters rite in the face ! OMG ! I would find that a wonderfull thing , a perfect wave for Jimmy to ride out & enjoy at this point in his career! of all the Zep fans wants & wishes a powerhouse of a one last swan song he wouldnt be opposed to , if he found the rite riff then let several artists work in private & present their versions in secret & if it had enuf magic, destroy the rest & publish the one with the Hammer of the Gods! Well not that it wouldnt be GREAT if we could get ANYTHING new from jimmy , in any shape or form , im kinda glad he didnt do it on an Ozzy album! Dont get me wrong the 1st 2 ozzy solo albums have some of the best songs ever but Ozzy didnt have much to do with their creation! Bob Daisily wrote most of the words. Now id support Jimmy playing on a Bob Daisily project. LETS just keep Jimmy outa the plastic scene , genuine leather the real thing !

Deep Purple/ Perfect Strangers LP sure showed everyone they were a FORSE not to be underestimated! STP/ were a fabrication by the industry & feed songs to capitalize on the music scene. Is how i understand it! Like a nickleback , songs written & promoted forced in high rotation , that being said there were 2-3 songs that were sO undeniably Power-full & untouchable! By the time the hitmaker teams focused on a nickeleback they really had it down & pumped out hit after hit ! When big $ is behind something u never know who really writes the songs! fun songs though!

I dont know of any1 who has that as a boot leg but Someone on this site (i cant remember who it was) can find a bootleg of just about anything Zep did & likely Plant solo also i think he said , it was some kind of underground? Type web address thats not for just everybody to know about it seemed . I pulled up the site & it WAS AMAZING & everything was shared FREE of charge at that. This Zep site we both are members of has some majorly impressive & well connected other members THAT WILL help find it if it exists. Perhaps if u start a new thread asking for help “locating” it he mite respond , he had recognized me from some of my threads / & or comments on here & felt i was legit or at least worthy of his assistance . He was sO knowledgable & helped me locate STH played live in cincinnati in 77 “effortlessly” !! TRY IT! Anyway....my girl Melanie is a huge Doors/Morrison enthusiast, she had both of us anticipating a Morrison reference at the mentioned columbus Band of Joy performance and BANG ! there it was.... I tell u what, i bet if u CAN FIND other solo yr Plant bootlegs you will likely find more references like this. AND IF you do get ahold of the show in columbus I WOULD like to get (purchase or ?) a copy !!! As it was a very special moment for us both that we knew would happen. I grew up in cincinnati & cincy SUCKED growing up listening to the main generic cincy fm ROCK radio station -rarely rocked 2 fast songs in a row besides “block partys of songs” on the weekends somX’s -& some GREAT songs I NEVER WOULD HAVE EVEN HEARD if i didnt go out of town ,they NEVER EVEN PLAYED some rock staples! wth? ill NEVER FORGIVE THEM for that! !!!!NEVER!!!!! ⭕️-START WITH ? Album covers Are fun to stare at sometimes when listening to an album. it kind of added to the music,Or the mystery of the band . take houses of the holy for example! Now thats an album cover worthy of the music inside! Yrs ago i questioned the outside cover of # 4 , but. I guess i got it , gives the feel of something classy i suppose . certainly more thought than this.
