  1. I was listening to "The Boxer" just this morning and I was thinking of you, mate! Cheers!
  2. Thank you Rachel! :D And I absolutely loved the photos of Jimmy you sent me! :D And yep! As always, I look forward to your emails! :D

  3. Like Magic, I was wondering the same thing too, Danny! If that lady is indeed Misses BIGDAN, then all I have to say is that, it is very very nice to meet her and I think she is really lovely! Fine addition to the beautiful women thread there Danny!
  4. Hi Rachel! I'm doing great! Sent you an email! :D

  5. OMG! Magic, Emily Pankhurst is another hero of mine! If it weren't for women like Amelia Earheart and Emily Pankhurst, women would have only been able to dream of equal rights and opportunities! These women actually had something concrete to give to the world!
  6. LOL! Yep! They certainly do! But, it is up to people like us to make a couple of refreshing changes atleast once in a while!
  7. Hey Magic, thanks for turning the beautiful women thread around! Such aa refreshing change from the usual nonsense! :D Would you be so kind as to check out my latest addition? The woman, whose photo I posted there, is a hero in my book! :D

  8. Anyone recognise this icon? She achieved something which women during her time could only dream of doing and I regard her as gutsy, with quite a bit of spunk and character!
  9. Absolutely love these additions! Well done Magic!! Honestly, why the fuck can't the ENTIRE thread be like this? I am getting pretty tired of all the half naked, leggy, tighted skirted tramps who seem to haunt the fuckin place!!!
  10. I do not consider a woman to be "beautiful" on the basis of physical appearance or skimpy outfits. I consider the following woman to be beautiful, because she is (to me) an icon in football for being the first woman to referee a "Football League" match. Perhaps to some people out there, this doesn't mean a damn thing. But, to me, what with all the incidents pointing to the existence of sexism in football, she is a real icon in my book! I am talking about Amy Fearn
  11. While we are still on the subject of vampires It never pays to be a vampire!
  12. Probably the funniest and most ridiculous show on the planet! What a way to end the day!
  13. Item No. 2 : I think this album is Burning Saviour's best work! If you don't quite like the album "Nymphs And Weavers" so much, try "Hundus" then! Ady posted a couple of songs right here in this thread. I am posting those songs again, along with another one called "Heathen Rites", which is also from "Hundus". These are my fav songs from the album : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrXAh4fDqzA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NBoItOgr68 Again, I highly recommend this band to all fans of "Black Sabbath", "Witchcraft" and "Pentagram"
  14. Bought the following albums for just NZ $ 10 today! Quite a bargain if you ask me! Item No. 1 : Here's a pretty nice review of the album "Nymphs And Weavers" (the third album of the Swedish band "Burning Saviours") : "Burning Saviours -- named after a Pentagram song -- have undergone line-up changes since their debut, and their sophomore effort is the also the debut for their new vocalist. Whilst I am unsure how he fares against his predecessor, he seems competent enough, but not especially good. Instead, their strength lies in the dual guitarists performing catchy hard rock riffs and blues-infested leads. Some passages are reminiscent of Black Sabbath, but of their earliest days, when they still had a slight trippy feel, whilst the overarching influence of legends such as Deep Purple and Uriah Heep can be also be detected. Occasionally, a Hammond organ is used to provide an additional layer of atmosphere, whilst the brief use of a flute inevitably invites comparisons with Jethro Tull. "Woodnymph" is one of the best songs that display Burning Saviours at their most contemplative, despite paradoxically reminding me of dinosaur rockers The Eagles". I highly recommed this album and the band "Burning Saviours" to anyone who is a fan of bands like "Black Sabbath", "Witchcraft" and "Pentagram". Ady recommended these guys to me in the first place! Thanks man! I owe you one big time!!
  15. Hi sweetie! :D When's the wedding exactly? Have you guys set a date yet? :D

  16. My heartiest congratulations to your parents, Electro! In fact, my parents will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on the 9th of February, this year
  17. Went to my local record store yesterday and was just in time for the "Green Dot Sale" where I purchased the CD version of "Houses Of The Holy" for just NZ $ 5. I STILL can't believe it!!!! A Zep album for $ 5!!!
  18. Yep! I am, thanks! :D I've sent you an email! Cheers! :D

  19. Hey Rach, any sign of your book yet? Like Deb has said below, I too can't wait to hear your thoughts about it, when you get it! :D I have a feeling that you'll love it and that is worth every penny! :D

  20. Sweet! Thanks for the link! I'm going to check that album out right now! I have a feeling that I'll like it a lot! BTW, in case you haven't heard, "Burning Saviours" re-grouped in August, 2010 and they even began working on a new song on the 13th of November, 2010. Sounds pretty promising!
  21. Thanks! I thought I'll never be able to buy these because I kept nagging an online record store (from whom I keep buying those albums which are not available at the local record stores) for 4 months but the folks there used to keep telling me that there were "supplier problems" and they even had the nerve to suggest that instead of refunding the money I had paid them, they would send me "something even better"! Then, about a couple of days ago when I had almost given up (I had no hope of getting the 2 "Witchcraft" albums and of course the money I had paid!), they email me, telling me that "a shipment" had arrived from Europe and thank goodness it was the albums I was looking for! That was such a close shave!
  22. Hi Ady! That is some great stuff you've recommended there! Thank you, so much! I love what I hear! "Dark Lady" and "Lilly Marion" sound really good! I'm not quite sure how on earth I missed this band out!
  23. Yep! You do that! You are in for a treat, my friend!
