  1. Totally aced my mid-term today! Now time for a break!!
  2. LOL! Well, I did think of the phrase "Ding-Dong The Witch Is Dead" and let's just say that I altered that phrase to my liking to suit such a momentous occassion!
  3. On hearing the news this afternoon, I pretty much thought of the saying "Ding-Dong, The Bastard Is Gone!" Good riddance! But unfortunately, on a grim and cautious note, there is a high probability of acts of "revenge" so to speak. We really need to be careful now, because who knows what might happen?! This whole "terrorism" movement is so wide-spread that it is just shocking! We just need to keep on fighting! I consider this as a major breakthrough though! But there are more rats to flush out, that's for sure!!
  4. I know Environmental Eco is relevant in today's world, but I feel like I'm learning a chemistry lesson or something! Yuck! LOL! ;)

  5. Wow! My uncle is an accountant too! I consider accounts to be very intelligent people! :D I did a bit of accounting in school. It can be quite fun but it can sometimes be a bit boring! LOL! But, good that you have a nice job! *HUGS I am very into the statistics part of economics. That's why I love Econometrics so much. I do like Microeconomics too but I absolutely despise Environmental Economics!

  6. Woah! It is incredible that you and I have actually studied the same subject! I swear that it is indeed a small world, isn't it? ;) *HUGS BTW, what's your fav part of Eco? I love stuff like Econometrics! :D

  7. As far as "The Foos" are concerned, I became a fan just a couple of weeks ago! I was blown away by the song "Rope". I saw their live performance of that song on Letterman and I thought : "Damn! These guys are so good! I gotta grab my copy of Wasting Light soon!" I really don't know how on earth I never got into their music in the first place! But, I guess it's never too late to start! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gEpbwlLKgg
  8. Gotta bump this thread to include my favourite little square-dance song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQQGSsI87kA
  9. Well, I didn't order the entire box set with volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4. What I ordered, is the CD version of volume 1 (what actually was the original vinyl package without the extras) containing the following tracks : Track Listings 1. I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night) - Electric Prunes 2. Dirty Water - Standells 3. Night Time - Strangeloves 4. Lies - Knickerbockers 5. Respect - Vagrants 6. Public Execution - Mouse 7. No Time Like The Right Time - Blues Project 8. Oh Yeah - Shadows Of Knight 9. Pushin' Too Hard - Seeds 10. Moulty - Barbarians 11. Don't Look Back - Remains 12. Invitation To Cry - Magicians 13. Liar Liar - Castaways 14. You're Gonna Miss Me - 13th Floor Elevators 15. Psychotic Reaction - Count Five 16. Hey Joe - Leaves 17. Just Like Romeo And Juliet - Michael & The Messengers 18. Sugar And Spice - Cryan' Shames 19. Baby Please Don't Go - Amboy Dukes 20. Tobacco Road - Blues Magoos Apparently, the original contained 27 tracks? I guess 7 are missing in the CD what I ordered? But anyway, I was really stunned to find this for just $ 16 honestly
  10. Well, on the 7th of April, 2011, I achieved a pretty cool milestone. I was actually at my very first job. I was offered a postion of mid-term test supervisor for the 2nd year undergraduate kiddies at my University and I was paid a pretty impressive NZ $ 60 for the day's work! I decided to blow up NZ $ 16.32, on this beauty, right here : Being a 60's Garage Rock freak (as you guys already know ), I couldn't fuckin' help myself!
  11. LOL! Well, you're certainly lucky! But a bastard?! No way!! In fact, the only ones who have been perfect bastards at this point are the fuckers at the record store who told me that it's going to take months before "Hisingen Blues" actually arrives. Well, those pricks have certainly lost a customer because of their lazy attitude! Besides, I saved NZ $ 6, thanks to itunes!
  12. Graveyard's second kickass album "Hisingen Blues" Like Rock N' Rollin' Man very very rightly pointed out, this album is indeed a monster! Well worth the wait! The sad thing is, the fact that I have it in the form of itunes downloads this time! My fuckin' local record store hasn't got the CD version yet! Those idiots said that it might take 3 to 4 months or even more!!! Hell!! I can't wait that long! Anyway, it was sure worth the NZ $ 18! Highly recommended for fans of the debut album and of course for the newbies, just getting into "Graveyard"
  13. BUMP I came across this one today on T.V and it sure cracked me up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwv7O5aCIPU
  14. Hi Rachel! :D Thank you so much for calling me! As I said, it was a rather surreal moment for me! :D I enjoyed every minute and loved hearing your voice! Hopefully, I will be able to return the favour and call you too (in a month), if things go well! :D

  15. Hi Rachel! :D I'm back online! I could retrieve everything! No damage done! :) Anyway, I'll email you tomorrow! :) Cheers! :)

  16. Thanks Emma! :) I just thought of that quote right from the top of my head :)

  17. Hi Swede! :D You're very welcome! :) And I'm glad you liked the little song I posted in the Garage Rock thread :) I just wanted to do something nice for you on your birthday :)

  18. Hey Emily! :) You're very welcome! :D Glad to hear that you appreciate my contributions to your thread! Like I said before, your thread is very interesting! I am somehow rather fascinated about the cultural diversity on this forum and love learning about people's language history too, you know? ;)

  19. And oh, before I forget, thanks for all the awesome times on threads like "Rate The Song Above You" and of course the "60's Garage Rock" thread! :D I had so much fun on the other bands / music section thanks to you! :D Right! I better stop "rambling on" now! LOL! ;) Have a great birthday and a great weekend! Cheers! :D

  20. Hi Swede! :D Well, it's a little past midnight here in Auckland and it's the 5th of March, so, here's wishing you a very happy birthday! :D Hope you have a awesome one! :D And here's a little gift from me. I do hope you like trippy birthday graphics! ;)http://www.grafixalicious.com/comments/Groovy/groovy-birthday.gif

  21. Hey Emma! :D Cool that you noticed the rather trippy change in my profile! LOL! Thank you! ;) I feel so bad for the people of Christchurch! Earthquakes sure seem to be a regular feature there, of late! :(

  22. OMG!!! Welcome back sweetie!! :D Lovely to see you back again! I missed you too! *HUGS Hope your training sessions went off well! :D Yes, the earthquake is such a tragedy! :( I live in Auckland where the chances of an earthquake striking is close to nil. Christchurch is the affected city (yet again!) and the folks living there experienced an earthquake in September, last year! :(

  23. ^AHHHH!!! So cool!!! :hysterical: How about her? Gotta love her spunk and ooh she is computer savy!
  24. I don't think that I will be willing to purchase that model for my living room!
  25. I also felt really really happy that I could contribute NZ $ 5 towards a fund raising effort in view of the Christchurch earthquake. At this stage, every contribution, no matter how big or small counts! I felt the need to do my bit!
