....I read the novella and loved it! and when the movie came out I thought it was one of the best King stories put on the big screen. Agreed also, if I am channel surfing and find it on tv it is a must watch every time. Not sure why? but for me it is. Tim Robbins is great but Morgan Freeman nails every scene, even if his dialogue is minimal in a scene his facial expression and body language says it all.

not trying to start a fight or argument. I am just interested that you feel Lennon had a more musical post-Beatles impact that McCartney. I would have gathered that up until Lennons death, most would say that McCartney made more of a musical impact. If you disagree, please set me straight?...cheers

Admiral William Bull once said, "There are no great men. Just great challenges which ordinary men, out of necessity, are forced by circumstance to meet." .....John Lennon may have had his faults but if his words and music inspire others positively then that is all good.

Murray complained to the umpire about the crowd noise. What about the noise some tennis players seem to feel the need to make nowadays when serving and volleying?...lol.....he needs to learn to focus more

The Good and not so Good of Celebration Day
fishhead replied to Rock Historian's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
good points on the first 2 song feedback problems, that may have led to a less than stellar mix for those tunes...I forgot about that. -

hey Joe, was it kinda muddy for ya in the mix? I have to admit too, i have heard the dvd now a couple of times at different friends/sound systems and I'm noticing that I am not 100% with it either. I do love it still. -
I believe click tracks are used to give the drummer/band a "perfect time reference" so that their own metre stays consistent throughtout the recording process of the song (sometimes used live too).

I think I read somewhere that the Heartbreaker video footage from RAH was either damaged or not taken due to a technical difficulty.... -

Saw Django Unchained. Liked it very much and found it interesting that the story followed the Hero's Journey somewhat. I'm gonna check out some of QT's interviews for reference to it... http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/smc/journey/ref/summary.html
