  1. Hi Marcelo, welcome to the board. Greetings from São Paulo.
  2. I'm happy too, 9. It's a great movie!
  3. I finally got to watch "It Might Get Loud" at the movies. And it was totally worth the waiting. Great movie, I had a fantastic time watching Jimmy Page on the screen. :D And it was also nice to see Sam Rapallo's name on the final credits.
  4. It's a pity this thread was spoiled by so many senseless posts. At least one of the big deseases of this board has finally been banned. Blame it on Robert.
  5. Robert on his performance of Innuendo (Mojo classic - Queen, The Inside Story): "Freddie had said they'd written it as a tribute to Zeppelin but I couldn't get my head around the words. I tried to learn them while I was on holiday in Morocco, but I ended up with a huge lyric sheet taped to the stage... I think they (Queen) will cut my performance out of the video". And actually Robert's Innuendo isn't on the official Tribute video. I have also another magazine (just can't find it now) where Robert is even more direct about it, saying something like: " I f***ed the song". And yes - I couldn't agree more - he did. I remember how embarassed I was as I watched the concert.....I really felt sorry for Robert, it was painful to watch him singing the song trying to read the lyrics. But what is the deal about it?? Robert had had some bad performances during the Led Zeppelin's days too. Still the man is the greatest singer ever.
  6. It's been a long, long, long time....since I last posted anything here. Just because I missed this thread so much.
  7. Great to see these lovely pics of you and your kids, Dzldoc and planted!
  8. Down By The Seaside Carouselambra Hot Dog
  9. IV, vinyl, as it was first released here in Brazil. 1972, I think.
  10. Love this one. Bring It On Home. ( I am just listening to it! )
  11. where is the "e"? I also thought of Achilles, but no "e" on Cats tails and hills
  12. Tom Jobim's "Waters of March" was also in a Coca Cola TV ad in 1985. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR7Wj9qnwaM And Jobim received the worst critics on his decision of letting Coca Cola use his song. He was deeply hurt at the time, for wtf, it was HIS song, he was supposed to do whatever he wanted with it (but I agree that the Coca Cola's version to Jobim's song sucks). I won't say I like Robert's add for Coca Cola, it's simply embarrassing. But, wtf, it's HIS song, it was the 80's and what's so bad about it? we all make weird decisions during our lives.
