  1. I took Deborah J's advice/post and looked it up on YouTube. That particular pop festival, on YouTube, does not have the Doors and Zeppelin playing together, unfortunately. If they did jam together, it has not been recorded and displayed. Maybe someone on the board knows if Zeppelin made any comments about the Doors (FireOpal might know). Or, if the Doors commented on Zeppelin. I am curious because I am a Doors fan and this is a mystery to me.
  2. Thank you so much for this ProPlant. Robert is aging well and seems very happy. Good for him.
  3. I was watching Zep's induction to the R&R Hall of Fame. Robert was talking about all the bands that Zep had played with over their time together. He mentioned playing with the Doors. Does anyone know when/where this happened?
  4. Ah yes indeed, Sozo. Do you think we could make a Zep Sundae by putting JPJ on top with a cherry in his mouth? Experiencing a Zep Sundae would be quite a memorable experience, I would imagine.
  5. Thanks Ladies for the beautiful piccies!!! I love his belly button.
  6. Beautiful pics Honeydrip. Love the gif. He is so beautiful it is hard to comprehend sometimes.
  7. LedZeppelin - SIBLY - TSRTS LedZeppelin - SIBLY - BCC Sessions Doors - Love Her Madly Doors - Love Me Two Times Coltrane - In a Sentimental Mood Listen to these everyday - more than once
  8. Mick Jagger A man must have made this list up. It has been shown and documented, time after time, by polls and lists, etc., that Robert Plant was the sexiest, most talented, best vocals and best front man of all time.
  9. No, every night wasn't spot on. But that is why I love them. JPJ just sounded so "croaky" in the beginning, he got better as they went on. In any event, it did give me a good laugh. JPJ is a prince and brilliant musician and I respect the heck out of him.
  10. I will take your word on it Knebby. I love this video because it is so endearing, the band being so real.
  11. I don't know what Robert said (I think it was "awful" or at least it sounded like that is what he said, can't be sure. There is one thing I am sure of, neither JPJ nor Pagey can sing worth a shit. I laughed out loud at this rendition of "Battle of Evermore." I hope they did not attempt this again. They both knew they really couldn't sing. Really, really funny. Oh, and thanks for posting this CLW. It gave me a really good laugh.
  12. You are right P_P. That smile is sublime and I'm sure it did break a million hearts, literally.
  13. CLW: Yes, I do subscribe; and, yes, there are only three issues a year. I think my subscription was $48.00.The newest issue will be out in June. Dave Lewis is more than a fan, I would say. He is a fan and then some.
  14. Thanks ProPlant for the wonderful pictures of the very loving couple. CLW- Tight but Loose is the Led Zeppelin magazine put out by David Lewis. You can subscribe to it on the Tight but Loose website.
  15. Totally agree, Knebby. Great album.
  16. Sozo: Thanks for this!!! I have never seen it before. I had to laugh out loud because of the look on his face and the hat. Priceless. Also, when was that pic with the red shirt and scarf taken? Must have been early on, maybe 1970-1973 because he hadn't had his teeth fixed as yet. Still a great picture. Thanks again.
  17. Thanks Anxss. The top pic is absolutely fantastic. I don't think I have ever seen a better pic of Jimmy. It must have been taken by a very talented photographer.
  18. In the early days, he always wore women's shirts. Such a contrast to his steaming virility. Hot damn.
  19. GTBT because LZI is my favorite album.
  20. Honeydrip: I hope this turns out to be a good buy for you. I have found out, from experience, to always check with one of the experts on this board before buying anything like this. Let us know how it turns out.
  21. Speaking of the Rain Song, I know Jimmy wrote the melody, etc., who wrote the lyrics?
