Driving home from Starkville yesterday, I couldn't resist stopping to take a couple pics of this cotton field in full bloom. It is a pretty cool sight to see, much different from the coastal scenes where I live.

Call me weird, but that pic is, for me, one of his best images. The one I chose to frame some time ago. The gaze intensity, some mistery, the look of his struggling with demons maybe, but both brutally and beautifully honest. It's my fave and reminds me that nobody really knows mr. Page (nor his reasons).

That's awesome, Pagefan55! We sure had a lot of fun during those years. Did you get to ride a train during that time? My son's story is similar, trains gave way to jets, trucks, tractors and then sports.

Lovely pics, Charles! Looks like there is a lot to see and do in your neck of the woods. Between the ages of 2 and 4, my oldest son was all about trains, especially Thomas the Tank Engine. He kept one in his hands at all times. We got a lot out of the local Amtrak train and even the transportation 'train' at the Atlanta airport , but to have seen an actual train that had a face would have been over the top!

No, just picked them up a few minutes ago. Might not get any of this batch as my boys want to take them back to college. Will have to make another trip to the harbor soon. Bumper crop this year.
