  1. Nothing like being on the water to turn a ho-hum day into a spectacular day! Have fun!! I'm driving an awful long way to get my battery fixed on my apple phone...a very ho-hum day for me! Thank you, azad! With that dedication to practicing, I know your playing will be excellent! Maybe we'll get a sampling on the forum?!
  2. I'm envious!! Hope the weather held out for you! 3 hours is impressive! Thanks so much, SozoZoso!
  3. Remembering John Bonham with lots of love today. When I listen to LZ, I am usually air drumming and wishing I knew how to play the drums. One drum part that always makes me smile is in Dazed and Confused. We have just heard Jimmy tearing it up on the guitar and at 4:48 the drums sound very light hearted, I picture John skipping through a field ...then, as if to say 'Bonzo doesn't skip', he goes absolutely wild on the drums. To me, it's a brilliant move, and I look for that part every time and just smile! Thank you, John Bonham, for giving us a lifetime of amazing drums!
  4. Have a great vacation, Strider. Give your mom a big hug!!
  5. On second look, I should have noticed that Daisy is wearing a mask...and cape!!
  6. Thanks, guys! I will pass along your well wishes, know that will make her smile (me, too)!
  7. Celebrating my mom's 77th birthday today. This one is extra special! ❤
  8. Agree! I love seeing everyone's pics, especially when it showcases the beautiful areas where they live. I've been very impressed!!
  9. Love that Nemea's cat is smiling for the pic, and SW's cat is wearing a mask! Cool cats!
  10. Stunning pics, azad...keep up the good work!
  11. Great pic, and absolutely best smile ever!!
  12. I have not tried any of the solid perfumes but will be sure to check them out on my next visit. Thanks for sharing your favorite!
  13. Great summary of Nikola Tesla, thanks for posting slave to zep! Can you imagine having a mind that can visualize and even test the details of your inventions?! Simply amazing!
  14. I agree...an amazing genius and very special, indeed. His experiments and discoveries certainly 'enabled mankind to have a little easier life'!!
  15. Going into the store is a treat all by itself, I instantly feel better! I love that you can try out the products in the store, and they will also give you samples to take home. Beware, it's addictive! Cool blog, Strider, thanks for sharing! The first Lush store I went to was in L.A.! At Universal Studios of all places. I was immediately hooked and thrilled to find that there was a store fairly close to me. I have ordered online before, but it's not nearly as fun as going into the store.
  16. I absolutely love the Lush store, the closest one to me is in New Orleans, and I stock up each time I visit! Their products are fantastic, very good quality. I'd love to hear if you find a favorite, mine are the bath bombs, Ocean Salt and Karma Kream. oh and one of their fresh face masks called Ayesha.
  17. Just finished listening to the remaining concert, 6-21-77, and it was amazing! A few first impressions: - I have a new appreciation for WS/BMS! Was really enjoying what I heard, thinking that Jimmy is just so amazing and kicks a$$ all by himself, and as if Jimmy replied with 'If you like that, just imagine what happens when I bring along some of my friends', we slide into a powerful Kashmir!! Brilliant!! - As we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner today, how cool it was to hear Jimmy's shout out to the USA with SSB and Dixie...way to go, Jimmy, the USA loves you a lot!! - Beautiful version of Stairway to Heaven, presented as a gift to the audience, and what a gift it was! - I can only imagine what it was like to be at that show when Robert says goodnight...and then they come back with a really cool Rock and Roll! the concert was indeed long, but I have a feeling it was much too short for those lucky enough to be there. - Already mentioned my love for this version of TYG (although 4-28-77 is still in the lead for me)
  18. Thanks for the reference, Sue Dounim! Randy Butternubs posted the 4-28-77 Ten Years Gone that I cannot stop listening to! I will be sure to check out his channel.
  19. Hi SW! Listened to the first hour and then had to take a break, hope to resume tonight. I knew it was awesome from the posts on this forum, and so far it has measured up to everything that I hoped for (and more!)! I got interested in this concert from the version of Ten Years Gone that I recently heard, absolutely love the guitar! I know that LZ live is the way to go, and I'm going to have to search YouTube for more! The improv and variations are brilliant! I have the official live releases which are fantastic, can't bring myself to buy bootlegs.
  20. LA Forum 6-21-77 Listen To This Eddie (via YouTube)...first time!
