  1. I didn't say the NYT faked the satellite imagery, I said it was given to them, and the MSM has admitted that they are serving as mouthpieces for the Pentagon here (whom I trust you would grant is fully capable of any kind of fakery): The U.S. is using declassified intel to fight an info war with Russia, even when the intel isn't rock solid (nbcnews.com) It's not a wildlife preserve, but animals will encroach upon the area, certainly stray dogs. The point is, no one said anything about dead bodies lying around execution-style until three days after the Ukrainians regained control. And I'm not the only skeptic; Zelensky told das Bild (a mainstream German paper) that an EU leader also raised doubts about it: EU leader wanted proof Bucha wasn’t staged – Zelensky — RT Russia & Former Soviet Union Zelensky initially claimed that an Iskander was used to hit the train station at Kramatorsk, but then photographs showed that it was clearly a Tochka U: Russia claims Ukraine behind fatal missile attack — RT Russia & Former Soviet Union If the Russians used Tochka U instead of Iskander, why wouldn't Zelensky have said this originally? It sounds like he was lying, because he knows what the respective arsenals contain. The missile didn't come "cross-continent", it came from Ukrainian-held territory and they've been using these kind of missiles to shell the Donbas for 8+ years, in contravention of the Minsk agreement that Zelensky's government signed. The Ukrainian assault on the Donbas has claimed over 15K lives since then, did you protest that? Or was it not the current thing? The Russian-speakers in the east are Ukrainian subjects, but they clearly want to be part of Russia and not under Kiev's control. Should they be retained by force? Did you protest NATO's assault on Serbia (where civilian infrastructure was deliberately bombed for 70 days) to keep ethnically Albanian Kosovo from breaking away? I notice you do not deny that Azov is a neo-Nazi group. It's been established that they've been using human shields and hostages throughout the war: Was bombing of Mariupol theater staged by Ukrainian Azov extremists to trigger NATO intervention? - The Grayzone But of course this is consistent with Kiev's actions overall, since they told untrained civilians to go into action on the first day of the war. They've cynically tried (with full US support) to increase civilian casualties from the start.
  2. Yes, Middle East terrorists or Mexican cartels. The MIC's pockets will be lined either way. Profitable to the last Ukrainian.
  3. Except, the Russians probably did not do this. The Ukrainians re-occupied the town for three days without saying anything about dead bodies lying in the street. Perhaps recognizing this problem, the NYT was fed "satellite imagery" that purported to show dead bodies there for three weeks, which is absurd because they would have bloated and been eaten by animals by then, so I'm not sure why this was thought to be a better tack. I'm not the only skeptic: Zelensky complained that an EU leader raised some doubts about this to him. (It was probably Macron, who despite being a bankster and legit weirdo is at least trying to play good cop since the continent has an interest in ending this thing, unlike the Americans and British.) And the attack on the train station at Kramatorsk was carried out by a missile not in the Russian arsenal and fired from a position in Ukrainian-held territory. Not to mention it killed ethnic Russian refugees. Which is probably why that story was dropped by the MSM even quicker than Bucha. I don't doubt that Russian soldiers have committed war crimes, since that happens in every war. But the Ukrainian black propaganda here is pretty blatant. BTW, the neo-Nazis in the Azov Battalion have filmed themselves killing hostages. But I guess that's ok with some people because they share our "democratic values"?
  4. Money well spent: White House has 'Almost Zero' Ability to Track Weapons It Sends to Ukraine | The Libertarian Institute Funny how former peaceniks are some of the biggest cheerleaders for the MIC and the very sleaziest aspects of crony capitalism.
  5. I hate to break it to you, but when the Donbas cauldron is destroyed in a few weeks, the war will be over and Russia will achieve pretty much all of it's objectives. The only interesting thing will be seeing what the American media does, since it's been laughably claiming from the start that Ukraine is winning (despite the fact that from day 1 they've told civilians to go on suicide missions against tanks, sounds like a great strategy). But there's a much bigger problem here. You claim to have vocally protested and opposed the Iraq war (good for you), but you're willing to risk nuclear war over the Ukraine? Good God, are you serious? I'm sorry, but you are insane.
  6. Actually it's the American Empire that is the modern-day Mordor. Or, Sodom-on-the-Hudson, if you prefer. BTW, what do you think of those Azov boys in the Ukraine? (At least, the ones who are still alive.)
  7. Well, this is where things get interesting, isn't it? The Saudis are willing to consider pricing oil in yuan, meaning the end of the petrodollar system on which American power is based. Buckle up, it could get very bumpy.
  8. Exactly, it's part Poland, part Russia, a bit of Slovakia, and 100% a Deep State money-laundering operation.
  9. Yeah, I passed 25 a long time ago. I do remember that the American media's execrable cheer-leading for our unjustified war against Iraq was very bad, but it does not even remotely come close to the foaming-at-the-mouth hysteria that they're showing now. What gives? Anyway, have you protested Saudi Arabia's horrific war against civilians in Yemen, with our full support? It's still on-going, you know.
  10. Right, so one source is Page himself, not exactly a disinterested party here. Halfin's comments do support the notion that Plant doesn't want new Zep releases to distract from his solo work. But he also acknowledges that there is some holdup due to Page himself.
  11. No one seems to care about the humanitarian disaster in Yemen, that's far worse than what's happening in the Ukraine, and has been going on since 2014 (you know, around the same time that we helped destabilize a pro-Russian government in Kiev) with full American support. Why is that? Lack of non-stop media coverage and hysteria? Did anyone care when we bombed Baghdad indiscriminately?
  12. What two accounts? One of which is presumably Page, who's not a disinterested party here.
  13. Sure, but if Page said he wants to put out some Japan '71 or Earl's Court as an official release, what possible reason could Plant (assuming Jones isn't the problem here) have to veto it? Not like we're talking about a documentary about the band's excesses and debaucheries (which seems to be Plant's main source of embarrassment over the period.) Page's effort on the remasters 8 years ago wasn't exactly thorough, to be quite honest. (Not to express any kind of ingratitude over what we got, some of it was certainly great, but a lot of it seemed indistinguishable from the original material.) I think Page simply doesn't want to put in the work here, given what he perceives to be modest reward/return.
  14. The bloodthirsty dwarf (Yezhov reference, in case you're wondering) is back, and giving the game away: Watch: Fauci Admits "You Use Lockdowns To Get People Vaccinated" | ZeroHedge
  15. For some reason I always think Page looks a bit like Blackmore in late '72-early '73.
  16. Why would Plant care one way or another about this sort of thing? It's Page's project, and at any rate if Page really wanted to get some stuff out he wouldn't defer to Plant (and certainly not Jones) at this stage. This all sounds like rationalization/excuse making on Page's part. He doesn't want to put in the effort it would require, so he's making vague statements about band agreement.
  17. Yes, but this never made sense to me. The 27th seems like it was cut short suddenly, it's probably at least a minute shorter than the typical '73 version, and not particularly frenzied like usual. Odd choice to me for an official release. And to be clear: the 28th HB is the best of the group.
  18. STH from the 29th is also fantastic, although not as good as the 27th of course. HB from the 29th kicks ass, much better than the 27th.
  19. D&C and STH on the 27th are all-time greats, without question, probably best ever. But the rest of the show is a bit lackluster, Heartbreaker in particular seems oddly truncated for some reason, usually it's a highlight of the last third of the show. We unfortunately don't know how the first half of the 27th sounds, but the 28th is a bit of the opposite issue: everything except D&C and STH are outstanding, the well-known NQ but also OTHAFA, HB, the Ocean, all smoking versions. Even R&R is above average. The 29th is probably the best of the three shows from start to finish, although with the possible exception of NQ no individual song is better than previous nights. However there's the epic version of Thank You, that alone gives the 29th some serious props. (Don't forget Bonham's epic drum solo to finish WLL.)
  20. They usually do one per year, so yes, there should be one, I'm guessing in the spring/summer. No inside information obviously, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the 2nd night in LA. (Yes, I know, we all want the 2nd night in Long Beach, but unfortunately we'll probably have to wait a bit longer.)
  21. I like Russell Wilson but Denver got fleeced on this trade. They're not exactly contenders like, say, the Rams were last year, and they gave up a shitload for a QB who looks to be in decline.
