    I find that some of the songs I didn't appreciated fully when I first got into Led Zeppelin tend to be my favourites now, Since I've been loving You, Achillies Last Stand & Dancing Days are three good examples. I find ITTOD & Coda quite patchy but up until then I think every LP they put out was class from start to finish.

    I'm not having a go at The Who, I just feel the only truly great album they made in the studio was Who's Next. Strong arguments could be made for Sell Out, Tommy & Quadrophenia but it's just my opinion.

    I love both bands but the measure of a great band to me is how many great albums they made, Led Zeppelin made seven in the studio & in my humble opinion The Who only made one, Who's Next. Live at Leeds was their pinnacle though & stands comparison with any live album out there.

    I'm not sure if this has been covered on here but regarding Bonham's appearance onstage during a Deep Purple concert circa '76 (where he reportedly insulted Tommy Bolin), are there any pictures of this, eye witness accounts or comments from either camp (Zeppelin or Purple), other than those in Hammer of the Gods or Stairway to Heaven?

    It was widely reported prior to release that Bathroom Sound was a version of Out on the Tiles.

    Has he not named the outtakes as per what was written on the tins in the studio? He certainly mentioned that 'La La' was written on the tin he found.

    Led Zeppelin III is probably my favourite of the three LPs anyway but I listened to the remastered one the whole way through last night, loud & have to say I was blown away by it, I genuinely didn't think that album could sound any better. Gallows Pole has always been a song that has kind of passed me by but having heard the version on the companion disc it's given the song a whole new life, Out on the tiles has even more energy, That's the way is even more beautiful & Since I've been loving you, what can I say? Every song is 10/10 for me. My immediate reaction is that III also has the vastly superior companion disc of the one released thus far.

    These lawyers & the remaining members of Spirit have achieved their objective, the Youtube hits on Taurus will be thousands a day at the moment I'd imagine, album sales will be up on the back of it & when this case is thrown out of court they will all have made a tidy profit out of the publicity regardless. A great bit of opportunism really.
