Do yourselves a favour & give up hoping for anything, it's not going to happen by the looks of it unless you dress like a teenager.

Zep Songs You Didn't Like, But You Like Now
Mook replied to Christopher Lees's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
I don't see it as a James Brown 'piss take', they were all big James Brown fans so it was more of a homage than anything else. Whatever you think about The Crunge, the drums are incredible, the sound as well as the playing. I absolutely love it. -
Those Vans are honking but I want the shoe box.

You can hear Bonham quite clearly on Bron Yr Aur Stomp on DVD.

We need Adidas Led Zeppelin trainers, then I'll show an interest ///

Does anyone have any controversial opinions about Zep?
Mook replied to Cozy 4ever's topic in Led Zeppelin Newbies
I would point out that I'm a huge fan of both Jon Hiseman & Billy Cobham by the way. All of these people are music legends for a reason & all very different in the way that they play. -

Jon Hiseman was a huge John Bonham fan. I would suggest going back & watching Moby Dick from the Royal Albert Hall gig, Bonham had fantastic technique & a great knowledge of his rudiments. Bonham admitted himself he was no Buddy Rich but in terms of rock drumming his feel is unmatched, you can have all the technical ability in the World and never make people feel as good as Bonham did. -

'Real drummers'? Jesus wept. -
People are more reserved in Britain. I'm always looking at people's clothes but would never think to comment. If I see someone with Zeppelin gear on I think 'cool b*stard' to myself.

Professionally filmed Led Zeppelin concerts
Mook replied to Geezer's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
Aye, I think he's talking rubbish. -
I think the fact they play what is considered to be 'heavy metal' puts them out of that 'universal appeal' group of bands like The Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin & Pink Floyd. I do love Sabbath though personally.

Led Zeppelin are considered in the same league as The Beatles & The Stones by anyone with a clue.

The clothing is for sale on this site & the book is available everywhere, Amazon for starters.

It's a great picture & it makes me want a chicken kebab with chilli sauce, a lot.

It's just gossip though, not something that bothers me.

I don't see how the O2 gig was a 'balls up', it was meant as a tribute to Ahmet Ertegun & it was a great one which we all now have a visual & audio record of for posterity.

Spot on, Steve. Artists shouldn't need 'excuses' for not doing things they don't want to do anyway.

Robert's dad and mum...completely erased?
Mook replied to duckman's topic in Pre / Post-Zeppelin Forum
His Dad looks like a bit of a character. -
Jimmy Page has come out this week & said there will be no reunion so we can definitely put that one to bed. A 2018 live release also looks dead in the water now.

Nice one, let us know if there's any information about a potential new release (I'm guessing not). Goes on sale in the shops on the 23rd October I think (the MOJO magazine I mean).

I still go back & listen to the companion discs for III, HOTH & Coda fairly regularly, I don't think they're 'rubbish' at all & I'm really glad I have them. Some of the others I can take or leave but I like to have them there for reference. I'm really happy that the whole project was undertaken.

Because then people wouldn't spend £50 on the book?
