  1. Hey, Hey, My, My - Neil Young
  2. I see the grass at Wimbledon is not looking very green, for the first week of play! Here, same old same old - hot, hot, hot...
  3. You can hear the start of the change on South Bound Suarez on ITTOD. More distortion and echo in the live performances on the '80 tour. I'm sure others could give a more technical answer. I think the new sound was due to a different attitude in his playing, Mook said - bringing in a more punk sound, and given the fact he wasn't up to snuff at that point and tried to compensate for it.
  4. He has always been honest with every purchase and question I've had. Plus if people need info about the quality of a particular release, there are many out there who have that covered. Bootledz to start with.
  5. ^ Yeah I've been buying from/receiving mail from Fisheads since the 90's. Around the time ZOSO magazine ceased publishing. Yes, nutrocker, you've been trying to get him to fess up to where he's gotten info for some of his statements for years, but it never seems to happen. Didn't he make statements about the missing Indy, St. Paul, etc '77 shows before? Anyway, whatever surfaces, surfaces. There are still many shows I haven't heard and it's great when I do catch one - like 6/22/77 recently - but there is too much going on to have my life revolving around seeking them all out.
  6. Camps opening 2-3 weeks from now, depending on your team!
  7. Thank you for the update, Paul! Hope you're doing well!
  8. What a fantastic voyage you gave us there, Strider! Thank you for all of the time you put forth giving us everything from then and now about The Forum and shows. The Forum was always a mystical place for a kid growing up in upstate New York. MSG - been there and done that. But there was always something so glamorous about The Forum, even the nickname given to it - The Fabulous Forum. I hated the Lakers in the 80's but knew they were a perfect pairing, in their style of play and aura, with that arena. Much like the Celtics and the old Boston Garden. Led Zeppelin were also a perfect pairing with The Forum and you could hear it every time they played there. Thanks again, much like listening to those shows every June, reading your transcriptions of those shows is also going to be mandatory every June! ✌?
  9. It was a great 4th in the new house. Had lots of friends and family over, Mrs Walter secured a water slide for the kids and buzzed adults ?, the weather held off beautifully, and we were able to take in Disney World fireworks by simply walking our into the backyard. Hope all Americans had a safe and festive 4th of July! Happy 241st Birthday, America!
  10. They are all so good - except the last season, Roanoke. We have joined the modern world and have been binge watching Netflix. Orange Is The New Black, Shameless, Trailor Park Boys, etc.
  11. Very sorry to read this. My condolences to you and your family. Godspeed.
  12. Just stopped and saw this. Happy belated 22nd anniversary to the CP's! Fantastic menu, as always! ✌?
  13. Hey there Kiwi! We've been moving in over the past week and a half - so happy to be here! Thank you for the complement! Love every inch of this place and it just keeps getting better by the day as we get new stuff, etc. Walter Jr will be home from his "Duke TIPS" program, which is basically a college prep program for kids who qualify in middle school. He hasn't been here since we closed on the house. So we've been in hurry up mode to impress him on his new home. The dog has adjusted well and so have we. Thanks again! ?✌???
  14. Crazy F1 race this morning. Good to see Ricardo win at Azerbaijan!
  15. Absolutely you should continue. Just let whatever you want flow out! Looking forward to the 26&27th specifically! ✌?
  16. Nice write up,Strider. I don't recall them playing TUF that night though. I listened on my phone while unpacking parts of the kitchen yesterday and thought the quality wasn't that bad at all. Very enjoyable show. Highlights for me we're In My Time Of Dying, Since I've Been Loving You, No Quarter, WS/Black Mt Side w/Swan Song inc into it, Kashmir, Over The Hills, Achilles, and probably the most vicious Rock and Roll since '72. Great show for sure!
  17. Just listened to 6/22 for the first time ever - wow! The enery just kept increasing as the show went.
