  1. My boyhood hero in racing: 9-time National Modified Champion, NASCAR Hall of Fame member, Richie Evans and his #61 bad ass racing machine....
  2. ^ That's a bad ass funny car! I love how the rear end slicks ripple. Spent many weekends at the drag races back when I was little. All over the northeast. I avoided your posts above, marlam. I'm still one race behind in the F1 season. Just watched the Hungarian Grand Prix yesterday. Hamilton is really taking control, but again I haven't watched Germany. This weekend in NASCAR - Watkins Glen. Great race track, but it was just repaved so nobody knows how the cars will react with the new aeropackage along with hard tires and a track with an extreme amount of grip. Jeff Gordon continues to fill in for Dale Earnhardt Jr and will do so at Bristol in two weeks (next week is a rare off week). No time table for return when the brain is involved. I think his career is over, personally and sadly. But his long-term health is priority number one.
  3. They were good music while we were waiting in line to get Walter Jr a shirt and poster for the event.
  4. The past two days we've been working on the interior design of our new house being built. Happy it's over and with our selections. Now waiting for ground to finally be broken....
  5. You've hit the proverbial nail on the head. Peter Grant's fault on that one, for sure.
  6. Very cool images Guns N Roses did for their recent show here in the City Beautiful. Here is one that contained 49 roses around their logo, representing the 49 lives lost that horrific night...
  7. One song I forgot to add to the set list was "The Seeker" by The Who was in the encore between DC and PC. Good cover of it and very unexpected.
  8. Feb 13, 1996 show from Tokyo - 2nd song in. You should easily be able to find it on youtube, I would think.
  9. As long as you feel vindicated. That's all we want down here in Orlando.
  10. Who is the opener? Being at the Cowboys stadium will make that show epic!
  11. Page/Plant played it in the 90's. Worked great live, IMO!
  12. I thought so, just wanted to make sure I hadn't overlooked anything. ✌?️
  13. Yanks trade Miller to the tribe...
  14. "They're usually better than this." - fan at Charlotte '72 show
  15. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun - Pink Floyd
  16. Absolutely. That was my point. Everything was being pushed, especially sexuality. Zep (Plant/Page) helped push that, but after '73 weren't even close to being cavalier in that aspect.
