  1. Yeah, the visuals add so much to that show - the interaction between Page and Plant during WLL is mesmerizing. Love the encores, the banter between songs and, of course, the amazing versions that were played on that final evening. I didn't like how they switched back to "San Francisco" in Dazed... always thought that moodier part fit much better with the "Woodstock" lyrics at that point.
  2. Hi Sue! In the states for the summer yet? I was debating whether or not to watch the 24th or the 25th show. Since I recently watch all 3 hours 45 minutes of the 25th recently, I decided to dust off the 24th. In My Time of Dying - Earl's Court - 5/24/75
  3. I have a friend who I make copies of Zeppelin shows for and he is a drummer. He is always all over Jimmy's playing, saying he has played with better guitarists than Page. They play small bars in Central Florida. Another example of the old adage about opinions, just like the earlier post your are referring to Tom.

Really? I put 'Clockwork Angels' up with some of their best work. Live, it's even better - IMO. Which discs do it for you then? Michael, which of their discs are your favorites?
  5. Pointless to try to get through boys, save your breath errr fingers.... Glad you three had a great time at the show, Strider!
  6. Just finished watching Mr. Mojo Risen: The LA Woman story on the Smithsonian channel, fantastic video! That has always been my favorite Doors' album. In light of Ray's passing this week, it's so great to here him speak so passionately about their music and Jim in general. It ends with Ray saying that the Egyptians professed if you say someone's name out loud, they are in fact living - to which Ray then said "Jim Morrison". Tonight I'm saying "Ray Manzarek" out loud. RIP Ray Manzarek
  7. Why, because his wife was also married to Tom Cruise?!?
  8. Personally I really enjoy listening to Brussels, Zurich and Frankfurt for a change of pace. The set list is so different than their previous tours, it's refreshing. IMO. I love Train...going into NFBM. Like the new songs being played, could do without SIBLY and WS. Trampled is fantastic and so was Achillies. If anyone is a Zeppelin fan past "Stairway" and the other radio classics, you've gotta at least check out those shows I mentioned, IMO.
  9. I wasn't referring to them as one, but thank you for the pysch101 review nonetheless. What I am saying is...how long until you, and your current slew of different names you are back under, are banned again Del? I was hoping you had received some help since your and Nick's personal attack on Knebby and her family, but obviously you haven't based on your typically predictable narcacistic responses. Back on topic: what's in the wash currently...beach attire, getting ready to hit the waves this weekend as temps begin to hit 90!
  10. C'mon Greenman, it's just Nick slamming ITTOD.....AGAIN! Look at any of the previous threads about that disc and you'll see all of his various names/opinions echoing this one.
  11. Why I am even on your radar to begin with, is beyond me - you and I haven't even spoken for quite a while and then you show up with some random comment on that other thread. What gives?
  12. THIS is what I was talking about douche bag! If you're pissed because your bets have gone south, find someone else to take it out on!
  13. Are you starting sh!t, or just f'in around?
  14. Little early to be that f*cked up, Rick!?! Based on your post over in the baseball thread, seems like you have one thing on your mind....
  15. To stay on topic, I'm glad they chose to do whatever they wanted - it's their choice. They didn't go to New York/Washington DC as a "working band", rather as a band that was receiving honours it rightly deserved.
  16. True, true. Especially when the same insult is given over and over again, only to incite reactions from others. Next....
  17. Remember how wild the crowd went when they (Jimmy and Robert) played it at the Orlando '95 show? Great song, it's the opener on an acoustic Zep disc I made for the car - perfect! My father had the original single in his collection I inherited, along with a mono version single of WLL/LLM.
  18. Your right, this forum is just a microcosm of the rest of the world...everyone is welcome. Even the schizophrenic, multiple-personality types, keep coming back in for more and more and more.....
  19. Actually, Strider, I was a Boy Scout for about 3 years. Earned only a couple of merit badges....but learned how to roll cigarettes, shoot riffles and play cards quite well! I just pulled it out of storage while moving things out of the attic and thought I might as well see if it can handle a good washing....the beer and "whatever else" stains brought back some good memories from the last time it was worn!
  20. I know who brought it back up, as well as many other revived "oldies".
  21. I hope they show it on Palladium over here on my cable system. Love how they sound together. Did they play "Ohio"?
  22. April_Lynn that's a fantastic photo! Page's pout for sure! Nice dress too! Victoria7, glad to see you back for the summer! Love the landscape where you are, reminds me of where I grew up. Nice boots too!
