  1. Wow! That's a MAJOR-ly fine lady there wesl! Kinda reminds me of another guy from across the pond - but that wouldn't be you, of course! Sorry Charles! That is a nice tie, but not for a Saturday!
  2. ^ Agreed, but looking past that at this point!
  3. Great track! Can't wait to hear the entire disc!
  4. Thanks PP for the updated tour dates! Clw, what's wrong with lawn seats, especially for the 70's kids?
  5. THANKS Cookie!!! Great questions and thanks for posting the answers! You're THE BEST!
  6. That doesn't look like a 1970 picture of Robert. More like '73, IMO.
  7. So sad, what a tremendous talent he was! His work is timeless and will be looked at forever! Remember DSOTM is also floating out in space somewhere in that capsule they launched decades ago. RIP Mr. Thorgerson!
  8. Oh, I don't know - because he was laughing after saying it! It's called humor, listen to the shows and you'll see Robert uses it quite often when referring to the crew and band members.... I can't even believe you are keeping on with this!

Good for you, TypeO! As others have said, don't expect much early - just enjoy it!
  10. I agree about hearing the WIC songs live, gave them a totally different perspective - kinda like Houses..did. Production could've been better, for sure! I still love 'Yallah' and 'Wonderful One' from the NQ disc. Haven't heard the tracks that you and the other poster referred to, I must check them out!
  11. Seriously, you don't know if he was kidding? Btw, it was Vancouver '75....
  12. Well that added to the discussion, now didn't it?
  13. Thanks DAS and TypeO for pointing me in the right direction. First off, the Teacher's Union in the state of Florida has absolutely no power at all, otherwise it wouldn't be dictated to, the way it is, from the state legislature. Second, what f*cking 4th grader writes in crayon for an assignment? I mean I don't even understand what this "assignment" was other than his teacher had them write a sentence on a piece of paper. What was the point? Where was it leading to, writing a persuasive essay? The whole story seems very incomplete. As far as describing this as a "left-ist agenda", I'm not getting what you're referring too? If anything, the sentence that was dictated by the teacher would seem to refer to the "Patriot Act" where U.S. citizens gave up some constitutional rights in the name of "being safer and more secure". Btw, that mother....I mean WTF?
  14. Whatever it is that you posted, TypeO, it's not coming through. Description please?
  15. ....and we know Stephen Davis is always spot on with his information! With Zep's sexual reputation, they would get a pass no matter what.
  16. ICQYB. Love how Page goes off on the solo in live versions! I actually like Jeff Beck's version of YSM better than Zeppelins.
  17. Misspelling due to copyright? Very cool Wolfman!
  18. Amen to that! Especially down here in FL with the windows ALL open so everyone can enjoy, right?!?
  19. Anyway I can get it! Earlier tonight I was listening to a tape of Berkley '71 that I bought back in '89 on a old rusty Sony tape player I keep on the pool deck, while grilling some chicken. Dazed and Confused was kickin' ass with a glass of red in hand!

The rule is/was designed because of small otherwise undetectable things that can be picked up by HD televisions and not necessarily by the naked eye. Tiger's situation was that they (The Master's Committee) determined he had not intentionally mis-dropped the dropped the ball at 15, so he was given a two-stroke penalty and not the DQ. However, he does know the rule (or should have given the recent rewriting of it) and made a mistake in the moment of an extremely unlucky occurance of the ball hitting the pin and going into the water. Fair enough as he was given a ruling on it by the committee. So, he was continuing to play legally. The problem with all of this is that golf is a gentleman's sport and you call yourself on things that even your opponents can't see, because that is the level the players have held themselves to over the years. This has been proven time and time again. Tiger did what was legally responsible of him to do within the ruling that was given to him the next morning, he has violated the spirit and level of respect for the rules that have been played by for decades, if not centuries. He made a mistake, intentionally helped his game by intentionally dropping the ball in a location that would benefit him and did not follow the rule where it states the ball "has to be as close to the original spot as possible". He admitted he took the ball back two yards so that he would not have the exact same distance - knowing that would benefit him. In the heat of the moment though, he forgot that was not the rule. They gave him a break, even knowing that he had intentionally moved the ball far away from his original divot. This may seem very trivial and silly to some - but him not WD-ing himself completely tears at the fabric of what this sport has been built on way before he was ever thought of. I find it outrageous that he kept himself in the tournament and I'm sure I'll hear a lot about it next week when we travel to Savannah for the Legend's of Golf. So to simplify what I have said, Tiger legally could and did play out the tournament. He should have WD from the tournament out of respect for the rule that he did not follow - even if the committee didn't call him out on it the way they should've - because it was the right thing to do in the eye's of the history of the game. End of story. Congrats to Babs, ebk and thank you to Rich for putting it all together for us.

Congrats Babs! Well I see that Tiger did an improper drop on 15 yesterday and has been given a two-stroke penalty. Actually he should WD for intentionally trying to get an advantage, breaking the rules and signing an incorrect scorecard! We will see what happens....
  22. What's the score Rick? Oh yeah, just checked - 5 to 2 Yanks!

Don't ask me....I'm 4 shots in and apparently hearing things! Who is everyone rooting for? Obviously it would be great for Freddie to hang in there for the win, but 2 more days is a lot to ask. I would like to see Tiger make some noise, just to see if he can put the fear into others like Jack and the old Tiger did, if nothing else!

Boy Rickie tanked there at the end of the round, didn't he? I like his game.
