I so remember that stable jet stream when I was a kid in the 70’s in upstate NY. A few dips, but nothing like now.... We had feels like temps at almost 90 today. Insane.

Fiery end to last night’s Daytona 500. Michael McDowell managed to be in the lead the moment the caution was thrown, so safety workers could get to and help all involved in the pileup faster. His first career win.

Just finished making and consuming T-bone steaks, sautéed mushrooms, garlic bread, Caesar salad and a bottle of blended red wine for Valentine’s dinner with Mrs W.

Reminds me of my years living in the “snow belt” in upstate NY. Couldn’t even find your car or house, at times. Crazy weather. Stay safe, red.

Running the a/c in early February is no bueno! 71 degrees and 89% humidity at midnight...

Extremely warm here today. Like a smack to the face compared to last week....

Yup! I taped it on my vcr, watched it incessantly and learned every move.

Very powerful lightening storm came through around 5 am...now it’s beautiful! Sunny and 70 to start Super Bowl Sunday. Should be perfect weather an hour west, in Tampa.

2.1 million vaccinated here in the U.S. yesterday...most ever in a day, so far. NFL stadiums are now going to be used to increase the capacity to immunize and consistent flow of known numbers of vaccines are able to be used to prepare for crowd sizes. We’re getting there...finally.

Some surprises tonight in the HoF announcements...the original 88 in Dallas - Drew Pearson and 2-time super Bowl winning Raiders coach, Tom Flores.
