Awesome! So glad you are going to step out and get your groove back on. Our show last week was a good night out. Music was secondary to hitting downtown for the first time in 1.5 years. I liked the convenience of scanning my phone and having drinks delivered to our “pod”. Liked that we had our own space, with a small table and chairs. Vince Neil came out and did Rock n Roll (the only Zep song played). Guitarist couldn’t handle EVH’s material - which was almost half of the set list. Jason is still getting it done on the skins. Expectations were about equal to performance. It was just great to get out!!

Wow. So sad to hear this. I still remember the girls yelling that they thought he was Jimmy Page on the Non Stop Go tour back in 1988, when he would play acoustic guitar for Black Country Woman. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Phil Johnstone

Last night....

RIP Mark Eaton. Close friend of Mrs Walter’s parents and our family. They were together earlier this week for Joe West’s record breaking umpire game in Chicago. He was a really good guy when we were together.

Hot days but very enjoyable evenings. Today about 90, but going down to 63 tonight.

I’m gonna attend my first live show on May 26, The Circle, since Jack White - Nov 2019 - and the COVID shutdown. It’ll be outdoors of the Dr Phillips Center and City Hall in downtown Orlando. I see the Motley Crue/Def Leppard tour has been put off to 2022 as well as the Roger Waters show I bought tickets to back in 2019. Anyone been to an in person live show? Who was it? Where was it? Looking forward to getting back out there to all venues soon! 🤘🏼

Everyone’s been asking me about the Yankees and I keep saying I don’t even look at the standings until June, traditionally. So I took a peek today and 2 games back isn’t bad, so far. I’ll look again after Memorial Day.

Completely agree. I listen to 5/24 & 5/25, because of the acoustic set, more than other shows from ‘75. Love the laid back vibe. Plus Trampled Under Foot was more intense as well.

It seems like the Moderna has been giving folks more of a kick in the ass than Pfizer. Almost everyone I know that had the M had side effects similar to yours. Pfizer, not as much. Congrats on your shots! I was getting concerned about the folks who aren’t getting vaccinated, but that’s their risk to take and the end result is their’s to own at this point.

Yup. Live 8 was so refreshing after the stale Gilmour Floyd era. Probably the best ending to the band we could’ve hoped for, at that point.

Steady rain here for the last two days. Unusual, but I love the free water! Especially since irrigation system is shut off due to the pool construction.
