  1. I LOVE THIS POST!!! Out of all my most hated (and yes I DO HATE THEM) sports teams, the BoSox are at the top of my list! Sorry bro, but I'm sure your feelings towards the yanks is the same. That is why I love your post so much... because there is nothing better than a classic Red Sox tank job in September!!!
  2. Why Howard? His show is a comedy show. Don't take it too seriously....plus he is pretty tame compared to many other entertainment mediums anymore.
  3. You obviously don't remember the call they made on Calvin Johnson involving possession on a touchdown reception......that is the set precedent. You can keep bitching about it, but nobody seems to be questioning the call at this point.
  4. So when are the crybabies who scream about the Yankees being the "Evil Empire" and "buying championships" gonna scream about the Angels, Rangers and Tigers spending all of this cash on free agents? I don't care, because I have never bought into the whole "buying a championship" bullsh!t, but it seems very hypocritical to me. Championships are won on the field by a team of ballplayers who come together as a team, not just because the players are being paid a lot of money. Good luck to the Tigers.
  5. Evans himself said it wasn't a catch.....
  6. Flynn is a Syracuse boy, left as a sophomore. He spent a couple of seasons with the wolves, now he is in Houston. I thought he would be good in the NBA, but now looks destined to be a journeyman player - unless he gets in the right fit.
  7. I have just been checking in when I get a chance, you on the other hand have what about 100 posts today!?! BTW, Flynn plays for the Rockets!
  8. Go look it up - I don't have all day to answer your questions!!
  9. Gives a new meaning to Union jack! Kneel to the cross!
  10. Of course he is! He talks the same sh!t every year before the season begins about how great the Bills will be. Remember when they got TO a couple of years ago....Rick was out of control! Then again, when is he not..... You're on the record, lets see what happens......I could care less who wins actually! It'll be interesting to see all of the crazy bets that you guys place.
  11. SCOOOOOPS hits a "3", SU up 59-48 with under 2 to go!
  12. Deb, I think I was your first welcome back in 2008. I still remember when you joined - thanks for all of your input, enthusiasm and good will to the site. And, of course, your friendship! Reggie I have also enjoyed your input to the forum. We may not always agree, but I enjoy your persepective on things! Good on ya both! I am laughing, btw, at the previous post....
  13. I've also enjoyed both books - Hammer Of The Gods was my Bible in the mid-80's, I carried and read it over and over. We didn't have much back then. if it was so "ridiculously false" as said by the band, why was Cole backstage at the O2 concert?!? Good stories always have exaggeration sprinkled in with the truth.....just depends on the level of balance between the two! It does look and sound as if things were pretty wild back then....
  14. ^Nice!!! Syracuse drops to #4 after their FIRST LOSS! Tonight - #4 Syracuse @ Cincinnati.... LET'S GO ORANGE!!!
  15. You are correct about Cundiff, it shouldn't have come down to a final kick, just to tie - but a 32-yarder missed that badly!! Also, Williams' dad says the punt returner might have suffered a separated shoulder in the 3rd quarter....nice excuse! His brain must have also separated from its stem when he got THAT close to a bouncing punt!
  16. So innocent, yet so not!
  17. Nice thread - great read/interview....love that aspect of being on here! Didn't some family members come out onto the tour when it hit California in June? Or was that just JPJ's family? Thanks for sharing the info....
  18. They pats looked better against the ravens defense than the giants did against the 9'ers.... No, I don't think Flacco did a number on the pats defense - he only put up 20 on them with what 3 turnovers? Shit the giants gave up 17 to the 49'ers limited offense on a sloppy field and wouldnt have had a chance if that punt hadn't grazed that douchebag's knee on the punt return! This isn't the regular season anymore, the pats defense has come to life and put plenty of pressure on Flacco, just like they will against NY. I am waiting to see how hurt Gronks' ankle is. Haven't watched anything yet this morning.
  19. BTW, has Billy Cundiff been released yet??? Or did Ray Ray take a limo ride with him after the game?!?
