  1. Roger sounds damn good on Young Man Blues!
  2. I like the Houston show also, great version of NQ imo. The night after in fort worth blows it out of the water though imo, too bad it doesn't have the advantage of a sbd recording like the 21st does.
  3. I was meaning that in the case of Jansch he credited as a traditional as he knew he had 'borrowed' the basic structure of the song. The exact same thing that Jimmy did with D&C. But I'm going off topic, lets not turn this into another D&C.
  4. That jacket was made for him by a fan, I remember reading something about it. She said she was at the show and she was gobsmacked when he came out wearing it for the encores.
  5. Ah I wasn't at knebworth, I'm only 20 so will never get to see the band live, which sucks but oh well. In '77 the double neck was used for Sick Again as it followed TSRTS but at Knebworth Celebration Day directly followed TSRTS. Here you go, from the 4th/8/79: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXTFwfGE0Ak
  6. Yeah he did after Bonzo's drum solo I think. Hence why David said the pic was taken during Achilles Last Stand... The second to last song of the night (not including encores of course).
  7. Huh? The pic on the previous page with Jimmy playing the double neck is Sick Again . Also, don't know what you mean by he used the double neck as he did at Knebworth. At Knebworth he played 'Sick Again' with the Sunburst Les Paul.
  8. I always thought that second pic was from the 21st. Cheers for clearing that up!
  9. That looks to be 'Sick Again' as he still has the scarf on, which never stayed on during the whole show. I've seen photos of the band during 'The Song Remains The Same' from the 6/21 show and Jimmy was wearing sunglasses, maybe he took them off before Sick Again? but that would have been pretty hard to do as it starts the second after TSRTS finishes.
  10. Although he may have been a junkie at the time, Page was at his coolest in '77.
  11. 'Unfortunately we can't wear things like that because we do a lot of running around so we need stuff that stretches and is highly washable'. That comment made me laugh because we all know that Jimmy only had the one white poppy suit and he wore it for the majority of the dates on the '77 tour, which was coincidentally when he was at his most active on stage. Apparently it was just hung up to dry after a show! Sweat dripping from it and all.
  12. Looks to be around 1976?
  13. Judging by the fact that it's all close ups and no shots of the crowd I'd say it was purely for the in house video screens.
  14. Haha, now that makes more sense! Yeah it does get a lot of speculation but it wasn't taped. Just look at what 'The Rover' has said about it. He attended the show and said there were no cameramen, video screens etc. to be seen. Also, how are these sources very reliable? Some more info would be nice.
  15. I think he's referring to the fact that the Pontiac show WAS in Detroit.
  16. Here's me up on Rangitoto Island in Auckland, NZ:
  17. J. Edgar Hoover - The Man and The Secrets I've only just started it, going to be a mammoth task. It's about 700 pages long.
  18. I'd ask him if there's any pro-shot and multi track recordings from the '77 tour.
  19. Pretty decent show that's for sure. The sound of that matrix is phenomenal also.
  20. Cool how Jason is using the Green Sparkle kit! You can tell hes studied the bootlegs.
  21. I agree, I find myself listening to it the most out of any Zep song since I pretty much just listen to live recordings these days.
