Listening to No Quarter from 26/5/77.

I've read on the net that this footage does indeed exist, it would be awesome if it still did as it's sad that the only pro shot footage of '77 that has made it's way out is Seattle. Could anybody shed some light on this? SteveAJones perhaps...

I searched the Auckland Uni library for Led Zeppelin (I seem to do it at every library I go to) and there's quite a few there kiwi, I also have quite a few if you want to borrow anything. Considering you live just down in Cook St and all!

You're right down the road from me! I'm just up in Grafton. Pretty handy place to live but we are right next to the med school and they are in the middle of redeveloping it so it is so god damned loud all day every day, doing my head in. We've derailed this thread, should take it to pm haha.

I'm a big fan of Rory's, seen the Irish Tour '74 movie many times. I wouldn't know about him if it wasn't for my old man playing his LP's etc. all the time while I was growing up. Definitely one of my favourite musicians ever.

Can't agree with you on that one, I think its a very good sounding recording. Too bad about the tape cuts. The performance from the 28th blows the previous night out of the water.

Haha yeah, agreed. Personally this sounds pretty cool, bet it won't come to New Zealand though . And also, I couldn't really care less what Halfin has to say. Not worth mine or anyone elses time getting hung up about what he is saying. The way I see it is that the guy is just craving attention and he has stated his opinion on 'fan sites' numerous time. He full well knows that people from this board and others are going to read that entry in his blog. He is just after a reaction imo, how this gives him satisfaction I don't know. Anyway, that's my $0.02

Bring this to New Zealand! It's a terrible place to live for seeing bands. I don't like it (being the '77 fanatic that I am) that it totally glosses over this tour. Although I guess there is no official footage of the tour.

Yeah I like that one as well, a friend took it for a photography project I believe. Haha well I never have really purposefully done photos, the ones in this thread were really only taken by chance. Apart from that one.
