Kevin Parker is the musical genius behind it all. Heavily inspired by Beatles and some Zeppelin stuff, his psychedelic exploration into old synth sounds and phased guitar creates a real sugar pop trip. Absolutely loving Lonerism. All playing/recording/mixing was done by himself.

Personally I really like Tame Impala.

The song 'Elephant' on their new album has a real Beatles-esque sound to it. Decent stuff.

This song 'Led Zeppelin' is ok too. Vocals sound Beatles though, bit odd haha.

There's definitely something Houses of the Holy-esque about the riff. I'd never heard this until seeing them do it at Glastonbury and wish it had been more than a crappy itunes bonus. God I hate itunes...
