Black Dawg
At least that is competed against other countries. How can the winner of a domestic competition be called world champions? Only in America..... Because like the Ravens the USA can kick the crap out of he rest of World. It's been tried before. Ravens World Champs!!! Holding the Vinnie L.high. Bring on the Grey Cup champion. We've won that too. Baltimore Stallions remember them?

paul carruthers
Heh, T-Suggs is talking his shit on SportsCenter, he's earned the right. Took down the Broncos, Pats and '9ers. One hell of a season.

Black Dawg
Heh, T-Suggs is talking his shit on SportsCenter, he's earned the right. Took down the Broncos, Pats and '9ers. One hell of a season. The National Media doubted the Ravens the whole run, while they were clearly the better and more complete team. Bill Cowher was the only expert on the CBS pre game show that picked the Ravens. Even Shannon Sharpe a former Raven and Boomer Eisisen a Maryland grad who had lauded Torrey Smith picked against them. Dan Marino family man of the year also picked against Baltimore. How many Super Bows has he won? T- Sizzle is just letting the experts have their own medicine. Screw the Talking Heads who fawned over Kaepernick, along with Jim Nancy and Phil Simms. The national football writers snubbed Art Moddell once more with denying him entry into the Hall of Fame. It's about time somebody rubbed their noses in the waste matter that they ooze. Reggie29
But not against other Planets and Galaxies.. Anyway, the title is Superbowl Champions, not World Champions There has been a lot of discussion with the NFL about England having a team or two. We'll see. Not according to your commentators. It would be interesting if they did hold an international competition, I'd certainly watch it. Edited February 4, 2013 by Reggie29
Black Dawg
Only by Americans. Haloti is Tongan and there are a numer of other payers from around the world. HEck we even let a few from Oz in the league. Put a team together and challenge us. Don't forget when 'you' say America you're talking about 2 continents. Both are just a little bit bigger than down under. The teams may only play in the states but anyone is welcome to participate.
Black Dawg
Not according to your commentators. Are commentators don't know a swinging Richard, when they see it. They all picked against the Ravens the whole way.

Quite a few play baseball and basketball too. We're already playing and beating countries in many other sports with only the Football (Soccer) World Cup the only international competition we haven't won, yet. So, yeah, I'd like to see a team assembled with games played over there and here too.
Reggie29
I'm dying to hear which professional football league is widely-considered to be better than the NFL. You cannot be serious. FIFA. With a higher participation rate too. Edited February 4, 2013 by Reggie29
Black Dawg
FIFA. With a higher participation rate too. Bring 'em on! And we'll do the running clock thingy. How long will that extra time last when they fall on the ground and writh in pain, after being tackled by the likes of Ray Lewis?
Reggie29
Bring 'em on! And we'll do the running clock thingy. How long will that extra time last when they fall on the ground and writh in pain, after being tackled by the likes of Ray Lewis? Hasn't he retired? Plus they play for the whole 90 minutes, no swapping offence and defence and they don't bring on specialist kickers either. Btw, I thought the turning point in the game was that kick return touchdown before the lights went out. How they allowed him that much space and let him through to score was a real coach killer. The Ravens almost did enough to get themselves beaten and if it wasn't for that play they would've lost, as thatt turned out to be the difference. Reggie29
A completely different sport and you know it. What next, a comparison of MLB to cricket? You said professional football and international Cricket has more participants than MLB as well.

LedZeppfan77
Flacco played a hell of a game. And I do believe the power outage was the only reason it became a game. It almost cost Baltimore. It basically made them play another football game the same day. And try to beat a team twice. Flacco came through with a huge drive when they cut it to two. I was a bit mystified by the play call. I thought they had a TD sealed and they had to settle for 3. That made it a bit scary but i figured the defense would stand up at the end. San Fran was a tough team to beat. Congrats you Baltimore fans. I am one but only in baseball. Repeating is just about impossible. But you won so who cares. San Fran, looking aheaad will most likely let Alex Smith walk With any luck all the way to Buffalo, NY. Their division will be a bitch. Seattle is tough and the Rams will be tougher with Fisher. Is there any official word on the power outage? What caused it? I have to go look around.

paul carruthers
No more football 'til September. Well, I'll have the NBA and MLB to keep me warm until then, and let me go on record I got Green Bay and Denver in next year's Super Bowl, provided Green Bay gets a defense that will actually help out Aaron Rodgers.
