Sathington Willoughby Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Fun thread Soso! I remember Pogs too! Mine were all stolen one day in the 5th grade. Here's some other stuff I was into as a wee lad. Used to spend my 5 dollar allowance every week on TMNT or Ghostbuster toys lol. This was the pride of the fleet- Quote
reswati Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) If anyone here still has some Micronauts or an Acroyear left, feel free to make me happy. Edited September 26, 2014 by reswati Quote
Glyn Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Someone gave me a box full of Pogs, must have been towards the end of their popularity as I never knew anyone that had any Quote

BTW this was probably my favorite Sega game: Quote
Glyn Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I only ever had the Sega growing up, until I saved enough for the PS1. Bought a NES a year ago, bought all the Mario and Zelda games too. Fun....but the nostalgia just isn't there Quote

Kiwi_Zep_Fan87 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Born the late 1980's and grew up in the 1990's. Played extensively with Polly Pocket Playhouses like this one: Sadly, my beloved polly pocket playhouse was stolen and now I am looking to replace it! I also used to play (a lot) with video games like this: I swear that the hunting dog in the video game sounded A LOT like Mutley! Quote

I also remember blowing into the game cartridges when they wouldn't load properly! BTW off-topic, I always thought this guy sounds like Mutley too. Quote
Ddladner Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Pac Man was a big deal in high school, before that, pinball at the arcade. Quote
SozoZoso Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 Does anyone remember the Vectrex? Quote
paul carruthers Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Werewolf... a great 1980s cult series that unfortunately will never get released to DVD because of some rights issue with the music. Chuck Connors was absolutely chilling in his role as Janos Skorzeny... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3FCB5D4B29F3B92C Edited September 27, 2014 by paul carruthers Quote
