But hard as I tried, I just could not conceive of any rationale in picking the Panthers. It would take a team-wide F-grade effort for the Cowboys to lose this game. Pittsburgh...Fuck Cleveland. Fuck DeShaun Watson. Detroit....Ordinarily I would think a team like Detroit would have a hiccup or two along the way to the playoffs. But not against their hated rival the Bears. I see Campbell's Lions keeping pedal to the metal. Green Bay...It's the moment of truth for the Chargers. And it's in those moments that they usually come up short. Houston....Scooter Boo vs. CJ. How long has it been since the Texans were relevant? Jacksonville...Last week was disheartening but I won't give up on Doug and Trevor just yet. Miami...If Miami's coach is truly one of the league's best and brightest, there is no way he loses to the discombobulated Raiders. This should be a blowout. Washington...I'll try my luck with the Redskin Taters. San Francisco...So the 49ers were playing possum, after all. Baker Mayfield vs. Brock Purdy. Buffalo...I thought hard about picking the Jets. But I can't wish that much pain on Rick. Besides, any team still relying on Zach Wilson doesn't deserve my support. Seattle...I know friends going to the game. Cost them $500 for two tix. They'll be cheering for Seattle...just like the majority of the stadium will be. Denver....That bug-eyed alien has been working miracles for Minnehaha but it ends in primetime in the Mile High City.
