Mattmc1973
Yeah, it would be hilarious if it wasn't so vomit and anger inducing.

MS1
I'd like to see George and Dick end up like Randolph and Mortimer. They are certainly every bit as deserving.

Now that would be awesome! "You was in the joint last night, braggin' on yo LIMOUSINE." Every time I refer to a limo, I say it like that, my wife never knows what I'm talking about. MS1
What would be better is if Dubya and Dick ended up in the gorilla suit like Beeks, tormented by Al Frankin. edited to add al frankin Actually, you are absolutely right! Although it's the torment of being reamed by a Sliverback that I was thinking of. Just desserts!!

MS1
^ Sam, is the quote in your sig Bill Murray from Ghostbusters? It is! I've found it to be a useful and multi purpose quote. It works whether it's sarcastic or genuine, so you can use it while discussing any course of action.

DRUNK
That's just great. Iraq is just one of those things that I believe we have to trust the government, even if things looked fucked up. I never trust the government or anything, but I think there is a whole lot to this story that no one knows, and that we can't know. I have my own ideas about why we might possibly be there, and i think this thing is wayyyyy bigger than the war on terrorism.
Big Klu
That's just great. Iraq is just one of those things that I believe we have to trust the government, even if things looked fucked up. I never trust the government or anything, but I think there is a whole lot to this story that no one knows, and that we can't know. ...um, okay. It is what it is. If it werent, the rationale for war wouldnt have evolved in this fashion: 2003 - saddam has WMD 2004 - dosent have WMD, but he was a groovy 007-caliber bad guy 2005 - who the hell remembers this was about WMD, we just need to salvage the clusterfuck 2006 - you hate our troops if you dont support this clusterfuck 2007 - are you against salvaging this clusterfuck? 'The Surge' will solve everything! It would have been more awesome...like spiders from mars, or a 2nd wave of hippies, or they were planning to impose saddam-inspired pornstaches on the world. ...something..anything better than what we've heard. I have my own ideas about why we might possibly be there, and i think this thing is wayyyyy bigger than the war on terrorism. Love to hear it. Its probably more interesting than those reasons above. Turns out that the Israelis discovered that Syria had been developing a nuclear capability with the help of the North Koreans . There is a lot we don't know about what is going on in the middle east, and the mainstream media is not interested in reporting it. I believe the Syrians have many of the missing Iraqi WMD's. I even heard a report that some Syrian technicians were recently killed accidentilly while trying to arm a scud rocket with a sarin (nerve gas) warhead. DRUNK
Oil prices go up. Who needs oil the most? We can afford it. We are established. We can function. China needs oil in order to grow into the biggest superpower. The more expensive oil is, the less they can afford, and the slower their growth is. Who benefits from slow growth of China? America does. Instability in the region creates high oil prices. High oil prices slow China down. Buys us time to counter China, maybe. The above is one major reason, in my mind.
