bigzepfan Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) Here's one from CBS. Looks like it was before the Grammy's?? http://cbs5.com/cbsvideospecials.html?show...guid=1026815373 Edited February 14, 2009 by bigzepfan Quote
ninelives Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Those were great! Thanks so much for posting them. Quote
glicine Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks! Haha, Wolverhampton season ticket for Alison. Quote
Melanie_72 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks for the links, wonderful as always! Quote
Aquamarine Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks a lot! Yes, the second one says it was during the Grammys rehearsals. Loved the fact that in the CBS one it's Alison talking about the importance of doing what you haven't done before , so that it never gets old. Clearly an attitude they have in common. Quote

lzfan715 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I love when Robert says I had a grammy. Once. They both look to be in good health, and happy with what they are doing so I'm happy for them. Quote
sweetredwine Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I love when Robert says ... "Sheer Luck" ... ... when he knows it is really "Sacred Love"! Quote

SuperDave Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks bigzepfan for posting the links. There is also a longer CNN interview backstage at the Grammys just after winning their five awards. I believe this is the full interview. We have seen bits and pieces of this, but I'm not sure if anyone posted the full interview. CNN Interview Quote

Also, that little chuckle in the background when Robert said "We had a certain way in dealing with the American press" back in the days of Led Zeppelin, then the full out laughter when he said "We used to hang them up on coat hooks in the dressing room". Aquamarine Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Thanks SuperDave! That was a really good interview. (I liked the look on Alison's face when Robert referred to her "adventures" before he met her. ) Quote

eternal light Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 (edited) Of course you aren't A reprise of that tired old meat coathook story hardly beckons me back into the rock and roll. I guess I'll do another crossword puzzle and try not to yawn too much from the thrill of it all. And yes, the radio is the same. Nothing new there. Edited February 15, 2009 by eternal light Quote
Aquamarine Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Ah, but this was a coathook story. Quote
BUCK'EYE' DOC Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Ah, but this was a coathook story. My fault! I originally posted "meathook" and changed it a few minutes later with an edit. I was quoted on the original post, not the edited one. Please forgive me, and hope this doesn't cause a brawl. Quote

eternal light Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 I was just teasing eternal light, and I promise not to brawl! It is nice to be assured that you are on good behaviour and staying away from meat coathooks. And I do hope that he moves forward from now on. and here I sit so patiently waiting to find out what price you have to pay to get out of going through all these things twice -Bob Dylan Quote
SuperDave Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 (edited) Ah, whether it was meathook or coathook it's still a funny remark by Robert. Does it really matter? I love his great sense of humor. Edited February 15, 2009 by SuperDave Quote
