I'm with you on this! I can't wait. Rolling Stone gave it a very good review. They just wish it didn't end in 1970! It would be nice if they continued with this. Next part from here through Earls Courts shows and last part from Robert's car accident till the end and some post Zep. We can always dream!

He kept the Stones' rhythm together and the driving force and backbone of this band. Can't be replaced just like Bonzo. This is a tough one. Glad I got to see the Stones with reliable and dapper Charlie who had a great sense of fashion.

Very cool Strider. I've seen many of these. Do you have the whole series or are you streaming them? It was funny that when my friends and I stayed at the former Heartbreak Hotel across from Graceland on two occasions there was a channel we had that played Elvis movies 24/7. We stayed in the Graceland suite. The suite had 7 TVs and modeled after Graceland including the Jungle Room with a mini waterfall. Very cool. But it's been torn town. Another Elvis hotel replaced it and is more high end. That's a great perspective Strider and can't be overlooked. Just look at how much LZ's sound changed and everything from forming in summer 1968 to summer 1971 with the USA tour. Quite drastic for sure. Led Zeppelin were chameleons!

Awesome song and very upbeat for sure. I will listen to this often. It reminds me a bit of "Gone, Gone Gone" from "Raising Sand." Much better than some of the material Robert has released over the years. Having Alison to collaborate on this venture, just makes it better. She's just amazing. I actually saw her at Outlaw Music Festival in Phiily in 2019. What a fiddle player and voice she has! It should be a great album if the first single is anything to go by and I'm sure it is! Can't wait for their tour in 2022! What a match. Sorry it took 14 years for a reunion but it's here now! I'm stoked! Here's the first single and "Can't Let Go." Enjoy it and play it often!!!!

I think it was only Bonzo who witnessed this at the Edgewater in Seattle. Kind of difficult to ask him. Jonesy would be next as he was in the adjoining room from what I've read about this fun for the roadies as the band wasn't involved with it. At least that's the legend about this. Who knows!

Well said Strider and I agree. Been a while since we talked. I'm looking forward to this doc so much. Considering the director Bernard MacMahon who released the astonishing doc "American Epic" on PBS and the BBC. This should be great. I can see what Jimmy Page does and say at what footage he actually has. If he says he has this or that, he knows he will hear it from the hardcore fans. He knows how much we want this stuff and I don't blame him for being coy about this. The other thing, if it wasn't for the pandemic this would have been released last year in the Fall. It was nearly complete until Covid-19 happened and they couldn't have access to the last bits of audio and video they needed for the film which they got the end of last year or early this year. Glad it's finally done. Hope I can see this in the theater and at least a temporary wide release or a streaming service like Netflix or Prime which I have. It's unfortunate Peter Jackson will be releasing the "Let It Be" doc only on Disney+ to start. May have to just get the dvd for that. Perhaps, a soundtrack for the Zep doc? Or Japan 1971 as well around November 8th as well for the 50th. Page is always feast or famine! I think it will be a good Fall for the smart core fans like you and I and many others. Not the whiners and complainers who are never happy regardless! Sorry for the long spiel but a lot to say! I hope I didn't bore you!

That was my guess why it wasn't reported on this site or other noteworthy music sites like Rolling Stone (no matter what everyone thinks of them) and some of the major news sites. Looking extremely forward to this. I'm sure it's good considering who JP hired to do this with his prior work.

I do remember seeing the ad on TV in the NYC area as a promo for the tour. I do recall it featuring a live performance of WIAWSNB from the Unledded video. I think it was a 30 second ad and the Miller Genuine Draft sponsorship is mentioned.

I have the original Japanese release. I got it in the early 80's when I was a teen at an indy record store fro about $5. Probably worth some $$$ now and I still have it. I also have the 10 legendary singles from New Zealand as well with the mistakes as some A sides are B sides etc.

Glad it's finally over. If it had prevailed it would be really bad for the music industry. As a songwriter, you'd constantly be concerned about the music notes you have as part of a song and a few of them together might be similar to this song or that song. You'd think you could be sued at any time and the ambulance chasing lawyers would be all over it taking on these cases.
