  1. I'd love a link to this. Great shows. I was at the third show at Roseland on 10/14/99. Thanks Steve.
  2. That is just so cool! I can't even imagine how I'd feel if this had happened to me! No words can describe it.
  3. Definitely. I'd also go back a little farther to the Fall 1995 tour in the U.S. Saw P/P at MSG in NYC and he played so well.
  4. That was very long but well said and most of this makes so much sense. You summed it up well. One of the best posts I've read on this forum and I've been here since the very beginning. Even better as it was your first post. Welcome aboard!
  5. Great version and so well done. Loved all the musicians. Derek Trucks is awesome with the slide.
  6. I don't know if I'm in the minority but it seems that the Orlando show doesn't need much remastering as it sounds very good already. But I suppose you can always improve on just about anything.
  7. That's quite astounding how well Page has aged considering what his lifestyle was during the 70's and a good chunk of the 80's. Too bad he gave up on making new music and performing for the most part 20 years ago. He could have given us so much more, but I'll take what he gave us and very thankful for that!
  8. This is a historic show in an equally historic venue. Thanks for making this possible so we can listen to this. Too bad the sound quality isn't better, but not much you can do about it.
  9. I have been thinking the same thing as may be part of the reason it's being held back. Although, there may be some more re-editing of the doc as some of the reviews were a bit mixed. I'm sure they want to release a great product. Although, most of the reviews have said that much of the doc is great but needs to focus more on certain things. Like creating their sound and perhaps input and interviews with others outside the band would give it more substance. Either way, I hope I get to see it one day.
  10. Certainly a legend and he will be missed. He saw it all!
  11. Hoping to see them at Forest Hills on Saturday, June 4th. Pre-sale is Dec 2nd and general is December 4
  12. 9/28/71 9/29/71 9/4/70 With 8/14/71 and 8/31/71 not far behind. Definitely love the 1970-71 era of shows. They were at their absolute best then. Although, many have their favorite periods.
  13. That was awesome and an amazing recollection of a historic Zeppelin show in their prime.
  14. I agree. One of the Seattle versions is very good from 1975, even though so long.
  15. Skip the Guitar Solo in 1977 for certain. Not crazy about the WLL/RAR encores from that tour either with the harmonizer effect Plant uses. Most years of Moby Dick but I do enjoy the Blueberry Hill version from 1970 as only 11 minutes at that point. Also Dazed from 1975 as way too long at 40 minutes plus. There may be some others I'm forgetting but most everything else I'll listen to.
  16. I guess so. Hopefully, the doc will eventually be released.
  17. Good to hear. At least we know a little something. It would be cool if the film gets nominated for an Oscar at the 2022 Academy Awards. I wouldn't be surprised, considering the filmmakers involved in this and their work with "American Epic." Gotta see that some time. It's on Netflix or Prime but not free. Wish it was. The main criteria for a film to be eligible to be nominated for an Academy Award is that a particular film must have at least one showing in a theatre before the New Year strikes in a given year. I'm quite sure about this. So "Becoming Led Zeppelin" meets that with the showings at the Venice Film Festival and Telluride as well. But, I'm still looking for word on a release date for the film so I can finally see it as all of you are. We shall see if something more is included with the release. I thought the release would be close to the 50th anniversary of Zep IV, but I'm sure it will now be next year. Who knows when. Either way, I can't wait to see it! Do you think we will hear something on Monday as it is the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin IV? HMMMM? I'm thinking this or something is possible as such a big date for the band!
  18. Thanks and sounds good. I appreciate this very much and the amount of love and passion you put into these remasters.
  19. Steve as there is another show from the same date back in 1969, I was wondering if you ever finished remastering that show from the Fillmore. You said you were still working on it a few months ago. I'm sure it will be a gem from the sample you provided and from the other shows you've done. Great work! Send me a link when it's complete. The version I have sounds good but could use some remastering to bring the sound out more and clarity too.
  20. That's how I've always felt about the Hampton show. It needs a good remix by SteveZ98 who has done a good job with some of these shows.
  21. Great sound and so much better than what I have. Send me a link when you have the time.
