  1. Well, I was referring to their music in the 70s. And my dad declares that "Fragile" is the greatest album he has ever owned in his life! Oh dear God! What's wrong with me? Am I tone deaf or something? Here I am criticising the pioneers of progressive rock! LOL! Anyway, is "Fragile" a good place to start if you are trying to get into Yes? The only tracks which I like are "Roundabout" and "South Side of The Sky".
  2. I love "Bloodsucker"!!!! :) It sounds so groovy!!! :)

  3. :D That sounded so catchy! Which band is this??? I want details!!! Loved the keyboards and the guitar!!! Kudos to Swede!!! And thanks for posting this Rock N' Rollin' Man! So cool!! Grooooooooooovy from the word Go!!
  4. I'm listening to "Manic Depression" right now! Anyway, back to the topic : Red House - Jimi Hendrix There's a red house over yonder, that's where my baby stays. There's a red house over yonder, baby, that's where my baby stays. Well, I ain't been home to see my baby in about ninety nine and one half days, 'bout time I see her. Wait a minute, something's wrong. The key wont unlock the door. Wait a minute, something's wrong, baby. The key wont unlock the door. I got a bad, bad feeling that my baby don't live here no more. I might as well go on back down, Go back 'cross yonder over the hill. I might as well go back over yonder Way back yonder 'cross the hill, (That's where I come from) 'Cos if my baby don't love me no more. I know her sister will!
  5. I am not listening to just one song at random at the moment! I am listtening to an entire album right now! Its this one here : What an awesome way to end the day!
  6. Well, I googled the lyrics just now and the actual line is "Trying To Save My Soul Tonight!" ...Gosh! But you're right! The line "Try To Save My Sordid Life" makes more sense!
  7. Yep! I do! Very interesting and informative! I will try to post some stuff too but I think you have been doing a really good job so far!!!
  8. Has anyone actually got into the music of the band "Yes"? I find their music a bit strange! My dad seems to like their music (a lot!) but this is one band I think I'll stay away from! I tried listening to their album "Fragile" today and quite frankly, it was weird!
  9. I again heard "Try To Save My Sordid Life" in "Nobody's Fault But Mine"...Jeez! What's up with me??!
  10. I know! But I'll admit the fact that in the case of "One Without", it wasn't love at first listen! LOL! Unlike in the case of bands like Graveyard, Witch and The Hellacopters!
  11. I've always regarded Michael Hutchence as one of the top Rock Frontmen of the 80s!
  12. To get more laughs and brighten up your day, check out this thread right here : http://forums.ledzeppelin.com/index.php?/topic/14209-songs-which-make-you-laugh-out-loud/
  13. Thanks BUCK! I was pretty shocked to be honest when I saw my grade! Sorry about the late reply! And hopefully, your team will continue their winning streak and make it to the play-offs! *fingers crossed Good luck!
  14. LOL! That really made me laugh today!
  15. I was wondering when this band was going to be mentioned! Gosh! Emma, so cool that you are into them too! What really aroused my curiousity was the name of their debut album "Thoughts of a Secluded Mind". Its pretty cool that the lead guitarist (I know his first name is Kenny) does a bit of growling in the songs! LOL! pretty innovative! I found out about them through Facebook, specifically through the ilike application! I think they also performed at the Toulouse Music Festival, this year?? Anyway my favourite songs are : "Your Game" and "Reign With Hate". And its a bit strange that they are a bit underrated though! Also, I just heard that their second album is in the works! Exciting stuff! I really feel that Sweden has got one hell of an awesome rock scene! Swedish bands rule!!!
  16. Yep! You should! Its very interesting! And they show you exactly how each song was made during that period, the inspiration behind it and some concert footage too! :) I think its called "Classic Albums : Who's Next". :) Now, I'm hoping that they'll air the one about "Physical Graffiti" :D

  17. Barely 2 weeks left for Graveyard's CD to get safely delivered to me!!! I am just counting the days! I even cross off the days on my calendar! Yes, I know! I'm crazy!
  18. Thanks for that! They sound really good live!
  19. Believe me! I face the same problem here in New Zealand! There are 2 channels called 63 and Juice TV. They do play some Classic Rock late at night sometimes but not enough! They pay attention to 80s bands like Metallica! Sheesh!
  20. Christ! Are they kidding??! LOL! What idiots!
