  1. How did you like "Ford vs. Ferrari"? I am thinking of going to see it very soon.
  2. Photographer Terry O'Neil. https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2019/nov/17/photographer-of-swinging-60s-terry-oneill-dies-aged-81?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  3. I am just glad that it is so sunny today! I hate rainy weather! It is too depressing!
  4. Lovely Sunday morning here. It's sunny outside and I'm loving it! Woke up pretty late and now, I am going to have breakfast, do a bit of personal care related activities and then, kick back, relax and watch a lovely drama called "Call The Midwife"
  5. It is only upon reading "Monty Python's Flying Circus: Just The Words" do you begin to understand the sheer hard work that went into the show's writing process! This book arrived only today, but I am already hooked! Highly recommended!
  6. Some of my favourites include (this is in no particular order and is a mix of bands from different eras): Rush - Rush Queen I - Queen Led Zeppelin I - Led Zeppelin Are You Experienced? - The Jimi Hendrix Experience Fresh Cream - Cream Super Shitty to the Max - The Hellacopters Graveyard - Graveyard Blues Pills - Blues Pills
  7. Oh and congrats to anyone who can afford the Norwegian Blu-ray Edition Box set of Monty Python's Flying Circus! https://networkonair.com/all-products/3077-monty-python-s-flying-circus-norwegian-blu-ray-edition?utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=Social
  8. This is just wonderful! Love it when "Monty Python" is given a tribute by a popular comedy show like "South Park". Guess there will be a new generation of Monty Python fans!
  9. Just won Amazon gift cards worth a total of US $25! I will be splurging it on a couple of books that I have been meaning to buy for quite a while!
  10. For fans of Downton Abbey, I would gladly recommend "Call The Midwife"
  11. Thank you, Strider! I am OK. I mean I do enjoy life and my sense of humour remains intact. But there are certain issues that have stemmed from certain incidents that took place during my childhood that I have had to battle and suppress for years. I now decided that enough is enough and that these have to be resolved if I am to live my life in total peace and not let the past negative stuff take over my thoughts.
  12. Thanks, E! I am so much at peace with myself now that I have taken that first step!
  13. I am not ashamed to admit this, as bettering one's mental health is critical. I have officially begun "email therapy" and I have never felt this liberated in years! I searched high and low for months by looking at ratings assigned by other people who are availing of this service, studying confidentiality agreements, etc. So many undercurrents and sensitive issues from the past that I was so scared to talk about for fear of being judged and ridiculed are now being addressed in an unbiased way! I usually devote at least 1 to 2 hours a week to this.
  14. Déjà vu. Deep down, very little has changed. The parallels are terrifying (to say the least!).
  15. Still pretty gutted over Baker's death. The band called Baker Gurvitz Army was underrated, I believe. Anyway, here are some of my favourite songs. You can hear the magnificence of Ginger Baker in all these songs:
  16. Here is a list that was released just yesterday. It is a list of the top 10 Monty Python Sketches: https://www.slashfilm.com/best-monty-python-sketches/ These lists are subjective, but in this case, in my opinion, this list does make for an interesting discussion. While I agree with the list, there are some glaring omissions in my opinion. These are the sketches that deserve at least an honourable mention: a) Confuse a cat b) Hell's Grannies c) Silly Job Interview d) I'd Like To Buy A Hearing Aid e) Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook f) Spam g) Argument Clinic h) The Restaurant Sketch i) Mrs. Premise and Mrs. Conclusion Visit Jean-Paul Sartre
  17. Damn! I am in shock right now! Didn't even know that he was ill! Loved bands like "The Baker Gurvitz Army"!
  18. On this day 50 years ago, (October 5th, 1969) the BBC aired the first episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus! Happy 50th anniversary! Thanks for all the laughs!
  19. Saturday at last! Boy, what a hectic and tiring week its been!!!!!!!
