  2. Well, tonight's the night. Will be at The Civic Theatre, attending the ballet with my mom! Show starts at 7:30 PM
  3. Cold, clamy and rainy. I actually prefer this to the hot and humid weather usually experienced here during the summer months
  4. Time for some Good Old Fashioned Rockabilly courtesy of the 50's! http://youtu.be/iIbXmY0Rbec
  5. Nice tune!! You know, the first 20 odd seconds of the song reminded me of the riffs in the song "Shake Your Hips" by The Stones
  6. Grabbing a pen and paper and gathering my thoughts and feelings together to actually sit down and write a letter to a friend, which will be sent eventually in an old fashioned envelope through the post office! The last time I wrote a letter in my own handwriting, was back in September last year, to another friend of mine. As much as I love modern technology, I love writing letters and receiving them!
  7. LOL! I wish! But making that birthday card for someone on here is what is making me happy today! BTW, enjoy making those chocolate chip cookies!
  8. I'm going out now to do some chores but when I get back, I will officially begin making a birthday card for a very special friend on this forum. Just the thought of spending my energy, trying to be creative for a friend, is making me very happy and excited today!
  9. Hi dazedcat! Thank you very much! I'm really glad to hear that you enjoy my posts on this thread! I am rather obsessed with hunting for old and obscure songs from the 60's (especially from the 60's Garage Rock and Garage Punk genre) My mom got me into this obsession because growing up, I was exposed to the music of bands like "The Ventures", "The Sonics", "Los Sinners", "The Huns" and "Antonie et Les Problemes" I also love "The Blues" and "Rockabilly" genre and I am rather on a mission, hunting for obscure stuff!
  10. ^ You're very welcome Missy! And by the way, those are my favourite lyrics in "Thank You"
  11. If I could edit the list that I made earlier, I would gladly add the song "Thank You". That's another beauty, IMHO!
  12. Bron-Y-Aur All My Love Kashmir Over The Hills And Far Away Achilles Last Stand The Rain Song The Battle of Evermore Stairway To Heaven The Rover Sorry about the rather long list, but when I hear the word "beautiful", these Led Zeppelin songs come to mind It's pretty difficult if not impossible to narrow it down to just one
  13. Your post pretty much summed up exactly what I was experiencing all this time while listening to the Inglewood Forum Show today! It's like something I've never experienced before! Man! I really really love this show!!
  14. OK, being rather new to experiencing Zep live and everything, this question struck me while listening to "The Battle of Evermore" from the Forum show (21st June, 1977). I am curious to know who was doing the back up vocals for "The Battle of Evermore" at that show. I know that as far as the studio version is concerned, this song is a duet between Robert Plant and Sandy Denny. This question may seem a bit silly to some, but then again, I am rather new as far as experiencing Zep as a live band, is concerned. A response will be much appreciated! Thanks!
  15. Listening to the June 21st 1977 show again today and thinking of you, sir!
  16. Mathematical logic behind Valentine's Day!!
  17. Happy Birthday my friend! :) Miss you here!! :'(
