Odd that three drummers in a row just passed,
Jimmy Carl Black
Mitch Mitchell
and now Michael Lee
Rest in peace all of you
and thanks to Michael for the great concert in Ahoy Rotterdam in '95.
Not much reply on this thread, Leddy......possibly everybody stayed at home.
:D
Anyway, I went, experienced it, partied, laughed, cried, hugged a lot of people.
Strange how fast a year can pass.....
Well, it is a collection of songs from different concerts from all over their career, the sound quality is varying, but mostly listenable.
It also has a very cool different studio version of No quarter on it and also contains the studio track "Jennings farm blues" which would later re-appear on Zeppelin 3 in an acoustic version (Bron-Y-Aur Stomp).
In Europe,
the Pope used soap,
to clean his dope,
under a microscope.
oh yeah
the rhyme word of this night is of course:
nasopharyngolaryngoscope
(An endoscope that is used to visualize the upper airways and the pharynx.)
:D
Well, I compose a lot of stuff all by myself....finally found some people now who will play it, so there is a slight amount of progress (finally)
:D :D
Here are two of my compositions, both in the stages of beeing demo recordings....both numbers have a completely different vibe.
1. Cosmic Caravan.....a rock song bout...indeed...space travel

2. State of fear......a sweet ballad bout gun craziness triggered by media etc etc

Percy has kind of inspired me to sing the way I sing nowadays (Before that I was in a death metal band, but that's ages ago)
This is a link to a demo for the song "Cosmic Caravan".....hence the not so perfect quality,
(it's got even some theremin playin' in it....just couldn't resist)
Enjoy!

Hi Gustavo, just sent this file to Jimmy as soon as I heard it....
Jimmy phoned me back almost immediately and wants you to meet him tomorrow at 10 in the morning in London at Oxford Street left to the famous snackbar. He will be dressed in a bowler hat and a red scarf as to not be recognized, you have to go to him and give him the sacred Zep handshake....(you know).
Good luck, see you on tour next year!
Well, at the moment I am listening to this:
(be warned, this might a bit odd sounding to western ears)

The first bootleg was "For Badgeholders Only" which absolutely blew my mind......the show has passed the test of time, got even better once I found the missing pieces that weren't on the original vinyl.
Mike the Mike, thanks and rest in peace!!!!!
Bring in David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes (Jonesy can play keyboard while Glenn does the bass and hopping around procedure) and call the band "Deep Zeppelin Mark 3"
Wow, a talented beautiful young lady with a real retro guitar, it's really amazing that you find these kind of people here.
Wonder how you sound like since you get inspired by the greatest band ever.
Rock on, goodlookin',
and get us cooking.
