  1. Virginia Tech vs. Syracuse Lets Go Orange!
  2. I believe you are spot on. Didn't Atlantic bankroll Es Parenza?
  3. ^ You think the kids even knew the song was referring to Mick? Facebook? Yes, parents and grandparents.
  4. That's a popular prediction. I think RG3 is more of a possibility. IF Manziel were to be brought in, then it's purely Jerrah interjecting himself on this team - which hasn't been the case the past couple of years. It's been more of a group decision. I just don't see anybody bringing him in until after rehab and any discipline the NFL might have for him concerning his off the field troubles this year - including the one in Ft Worth recently.
  5. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000631373/article/cleveland-browns-will-cut-johnny-manziel-on-march-9 What a loser. Time to get your sh!t together, son!
  6. Friday, February 12, Robby Krieger and John Densmore of The Doors will perform with Robert DeLeo (of Stone Temple Pilots), Stephen Perkins (of Jane's Addiction), Rami Jaffee (of Foo Fighters) and other surprise guests in honor of Ray Manzarek. This will take place at The Fonda Theatre in LA. Going Strider???
  7. That's close to the point I was making. The Stones have reigned as one of the top bands since the 60's, but their fan base is dwindling because their music is very dated. Zeppelin on the other hand, continues to get waves upon waves of new fans and their music does not sound dated, with a few exceptions. Whenever I wear a Zeppelin shirt, I always get comments from younger fans. Whenever I wear a Stones shirt, comments only come from older than me fans. Never from younger.
  8. You're referring to the past, I was referring to the future. We can check back in 30 years to see what transpires.
  9. You know the personalities better then I do, marlam. Is that his way? You've gotta believe he knows there will be growing pains. But they do have Ferrari backing, which has almost caught Mercedes - would you agree? I do know Gene Haas was not successful in NASCAR until Tony Stewart became part owner. So that doesn't bode well. It should be very interesting. I truly hope this F1 season is more competitive than last. Did you watch any of the Rolex24 at Daytona? Good racin'!
  10. http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/magazine-feature/6859089/scott-weiland-final-months-friends-family-talk-mental-illness-family-struggles Article with more insight into the recent past. No idea Scott had Hep-C, but not much of a surprise given his I-V drug use. Still incredibly sad, seems almost like he wanted to accelerate the inevitable.
  11. Daytona, and the 2016 racing season, has gone green! ?????

Serena goes down in 3 sets....
  13. Well then, if he comes through town I know what to give him....
  14. I feel ya, Kiwi. I can't get over losing Weiland last month. Even though I knew he'd eventually take himself down. I keep listening to the music and talking with other fans, etc. Lots of history there for Mrs Walter and I.
  15. Enjoy, Kiwi! Currently enjoying some Girl Scout cookies with coffee, while in bed watching the Syracuse game!
  16. Which to me is crazy. The dvd's I have from the 24th and 25th are not that far from official release quality, IMO. But then again, I'm not Jimmy Page. I really hope you're prediction comes true.
  17. What separates and elevates Earls Court from the rest of the '75 tour dates is the acoustic set and Tangerine being included. It gave the shows a better vibe and made them better paced, IMO.
  18. I see Cal is there to root on the Terps! 'Cuse wins!
  19. EC, hands down. Better playing, set list, and vibe. They were a band still at EC, at Knebworth onward they didn't seem that way to me. The humor, camaraderie, and magick were gone. Knebworth, and most shows going forward, felt like a reunion show to me.
  20. Let the corporations take control over it and it'll happen. Then the representatives will pass it as a safe substance. Acid on the other hand.....
